The current thinking I have for this deck is to focus on Spellheart Chimera. The deck is full of instants and sorceries, which means that it gets +1/+1 over and over again. Since there are 2, it would make a lot more sense to use scrying cards instead of cards like Index.The deck is unfocused aside from the Izzet theme, and bulk instants and sorceries used to strengthen my chimeras. The most powerful cards in my deck are Niv-Mizzet, Dracogenius Melek, Jace, Memory Adept, Jace's Mindseeker, Tibor and Lumia, Fluxcharger (which constantly switches it's strength and toughness), Hypersonic Dragon, Clone and Prophetic Bolt. I'm very unsure of Nivmagus Elemental, since it exiles my sorceries and instants which buff him but weaken Spellheart Chimera.
The maybe pile is huge because I'm still a novice at deck building.On the one hand, Blast of Genius, Djinn Illuminatus, Nucklavee and Tunnel Vision all follow the deck theme and support instant and sorcery bulk on some level. On the other hand, their costs are 6-7 each. In my already overweight and unbalanced deck, there's no possible way this could assist me very much unless I could mana ramp.
I'm very unsure of what else to say.
