----- Welcome to a fun, hilarious, and standard viable deck! -----
The rudest of decks, Turbofog occupies a similar space as land destruction decks. This one in particular will frustrate an opponent so intensely that you may be in a "Francis plays magic" moment (if you have not seen that video, Youtube "Francis plays magic"). This deck is extreme Turbofog, and oh so fun to play.
Rites of Flourishing and
Otherworld Atlas
provide the turbo while a delicious suite of damage negating spells bide your time. These are: Fog,
Moonmist
,
Terrifying Presence
,
Clinging Mists
,
Safe Passage
, and
Blunt the Assault
. A total of twenty-two table-flipping cards.
Beast Within deals with non-combat annoyances such as
Hellrider
, Inferno Titan, and pesky planeswalkers. (Congrats on your hugely expensive planeswalker becoming a token that can't do damage! Yahoo for you!)
Safe Passage
prevents non-combat damage from burn spells (the worst against a normal turbofog!) in addition to creatures. It's really a highlight of this deck.
And then for the finisher...
Sands of Delirium
!!! Yes, the point is to interrupt so much damage that your opponent simply runs out of cards.
Sands of Delirium
is the prime finisher but
Otherworld Atlas
and Rites of Flourishing can help speed your opponent to reach for their library and find nothing but cold, cold table.
Elixir of Immortality ensures that you do not mill yourself, while Reclaim can give you that one card extra in your library that can make the difference to milling or being milled in addition to finding a card in your yard. Reliquary Tower allows you to keep the masses of cards you gain. I've had over 15 cards in hand before, and when it gets to that point... your opponent should just concede.
Yes, if you are similar to me, infatuated with troll decks, then this, my friend, is the deck for you.
