Cloudshift is a must. Bounce the guys like Evangel or Druid that don't have counters of their own. Ghostway will wipe out all your counters as they return from exile.

They will all return at the same time and proc eachother again and will regain a lot of counters.

@JLenzen - sorry to keep bugging you but I'm wondering what your opinion was on Gleam of Authority. I tested it out once and it worked out pretty well but it may be too fragile.
April 24, 2015 7:13 p.m.
No problem! I'm always happy to comment on ally tactics or decks. Gleam of Authority seems to be really good on the surface. In a dedicated +1/+1 counter deck like this, it will provide a huge boost very early. The problem is twofold. 1) is that it needs board position, its rarely going to help you when top decking, because you need a creature to equip it to. 2) Is that it doesn't provide any protection (from removal like Doom Blade, Abrupt Decay, Path to Exile etc...) and so as an aura, its enabling your opponent to get a 2-for-1 trade. W
With cards like that, I often ask myself: When drawing cards in the middle of the match, how often would I rather draw this? And how often would I rather draw another ally?

I really like it because it buffs the creatures that don't get counters on their own.

There's just no room for him. He doesn't give the ally bonus either. I've been tempted to try him before but he's never worked

i am an absolute noob at magic, but why is windswept heath any good?

rhyptherock: It's a Fetch Land. Seeing that you said you're a noob, let me explain. There's Zendikar fetches (Scalding Tarn, Marsh Flats, Verdant Catacombs, Misty Rainforest, and Arid Mesa) and Khans of Tarkir fetches (Windswept Heath, Bloodstained Mire, Flooded Strand, Polluted Delta, and Wooded Foothills). They're good because they let you 'fetch' for a land in your deck, or an ABUR Dual (Volcanic Island and the likes) or a Shock Land (Temple Garden and the likes), and put onto the battlefield UNTAPPED (unless they're a shock) for the 1 life. The most important part is that it puts them onto the battlefield untapped, unlike Evolving Wilds.

Hey Nef, if you're interested I drafted up a similar deck idea, though with a slightly different spin on it. It still needs a bit of tweaking (the manabase is off for example) but it might give you some ideas. -

Cool deck! I brewed a similar but more aggressive Selesnya counters/allies deck if you want to check it out. Count Up Your Allies +1 from me.

I feel like someone may have suggested this already but what about Collected Company?
April 26, 2015 6:36 p.m.
@Exiled_soul - It was in the original list but thanks for taking a look :D I will reconsider it
April 26, 2015 8:22 p.m.
As long as you're running Harabaz Druid, I think Collected Company should be at least a 3 or 4 of. Its even more useful than Ajani, because you can play it with no board position if need be.
April 26, 2015 9:17 p.m.
@JLenzen- I've been experimenting a lot lately xD I added company back in.

hello! Cool deck! How about High Sentinels of Arashin? It seems like a pretty fun card to play. Even though he isn't an ally, he seems pretty cool
April 27, 2015 7:53 a.m.
Thanks I've considered it but it wasn't as effective as I'd hoped. Collected Company is usually just better

With your high amount of 1-drops and 2-drops, AEther Vial seems like it would destroy in this deck! AEther Vial also means instant speed ally etb effects!

I love this! +1
Kinda funny seeing Path to Exile in a "you are never alone" deck hehe. Guess you gotta exile the haters, huh?
