Consider Descent of the Dragons and Dragon Tempest for Reckless Bushwhacker and Collateral Damage. You can flood the field with Goblins - then use Descent to convert them all to 4/4 flying dragons. If you have a Tempest on the field, converting 4 goblins inflicts 16 damage, converting 5 goblins inflicts 25 damage, etc. - game over....

I would have maybe 2 or 3 Zada, Hedron Grinder, maybe some Goblin Dark-Dwellers, 2 Tail Slash and 2 Temur Battle Rage, perhaps Boggart Brute, and maybe 1-2 Volcanic Rush. But I like this list. +1

Did you consider the new equipment that is a coat of arms on a stick?

looks good man! maybe less heelcutters. how about Captain's Claws or Stoneforge Masterwork?

Considering how low cost all your non-creature spells are, you may benefit from a couple Goblin Dark-Dwellers.

eeagle Zada, Hedron Grinder wouldn't have enough triggers to matter and Goblin Dark-Dwellers is somewhat high at 5.

cdunn92483 and firecast92 I've looked at both and tested both. Stoneforge Masterwork is somewhat slow and Captain's Claws is as well and out of place a bit.

Murphy77 I really can't run a 6 drop in this deck, although I do really like the idea of Descent of the Dragons.

Yes darleen seems like a good fit, but when testing if I DON'T have a Hordeling Outburst in my grave it's very lack luster, also hard to get to at 5 in this brew.

I love goblin tribal and this is a great take on it, however have you considered splashing green for Atarka's Command?

January 15, 2016 11:42 p.m.

Brutal_Felix says... #12

Yes rorofat but doing so takes this deck from the 30$ range closer to 250$. It works well with the wide strategy but it's just feels like a worse Atarka Red deck. Reckless Bushwhacker feels like a better Atarka's Command because of the synergy with Goblin Piledriver and the haste.

Hey man really like this deck, I'd like to play against your style sometime. Check mine out and let me know what you think Goblins Don't Gatewatch

Curious as to why you don't play with impact tremors normally, and why you're not using the new 3/1 card from OGW Brute Strength

lukehugh, Impact Tremors is a very slow card. It's essentially a "do nothing" play turn two, when you could be playing something like removal or Goblin Piledriver. You need to play at least 4-5 creatures after playing Impact Tremors to justify 2 mana. It's better suited for the longer games (Control).

Brute Strength is a worse Titan's Strength. No scry and 1 more mana eww.

I saw your deck I will be leaving some feedback momentarily. Thanks for the suggestions.

I'd consider swapping 1-2 Wild Slash for 1-2 Molten Vortex. In your style of deck you won't be using the second part of Wild Slash probably so having something to turn otherwise empty draws into something usefull would be great after unleashing your initial slaughter fest. Molten Vortex might not be worth as much initially, but is really valueable.

Something I'd consider is adding carddraw somewhere. Mono red usually has the empty hand problem so having a couple Magmatic Insight or Tormenting Voice might solve that. If you're not too focused on keeping the deck mono colored I suggest 4 Shivan Reef and a couple Treasure Cruise. The pain lands won't slow you down, the ping won't matter with the speed of your deck and the cost will not increase by much.

No Goblin Freerunner or Zada's Command?

I'm sorry, i meant Goblin Freerunner and Zada's Commando!

Brutal_Felix says... #18

Slurke those are both not good goblins compared to the the other two drop slots.

Kroto yes I have the Molten Vortex in my sideboard but it's not something I like for main.

And if my hand is empty they should already be dead :)

This deck just have one drop one creature, could you have some use of Lavastep Raiders?

January 17, 2016 3:32 p.m.

Brutal_Felix says... #21

Slurke if Lavastep Raider didn't cost so much to activate maybe. But the deck already has 16 1 drop spells so it gets a pass.

January 17, 2016 4:35 p.m.

I was looking the current standard red cards and found Break Through the Line and have, in my copy of this deck have added it. What do you think about it's inclusion? I removed two Collateral Damage and one Titan's Strength for three.

Also, I think you should rethink your sideboard. Only 2 Roast is a bad idea since it deals with many many threats. I think you should also consider putting in Rending Volley. Perhaps starting with something like:

3x Roast

3x Rending Volley

2x Boiling Earth

That leaves you with 7 more cards in your sideboard. I think you should also stay at 20-21 lands. I know you don't need many but 19 in a 60 card deck just seems too low.

darleen says... #25

I think Tears of Valakut might have a place net to Roast in the sideboard.
