Sure it's 1 mana more than rending volley but deals one more damage and isn't restricted to white or blue creatures, which might be crucial.

SuperSaiyanSandwich yes I like Break Through the Line in the sideboard as a 1 of. I've been testing it. Do not run more than 1 and not in the main.

darleen Tears of Valakut is best suited to sideboard for midrange decks. The earliest big fliers you would want to hit with that are cmc 4 or more. We don't care about those by turn 4-5.

I love your mana curve. I'm just really bad about playing out my hand if I have it. I know the idea is to just barf the little guys out there, but what happens when you run out of steam? Sea Gate Wreckage looks promising for a lot of decks like this. How do you come back after a board wipe? Can you keep up with token decks in the format?

Panda if your hand is empty you should have won the game :) Board wipes are rare, and with 7 Dash Creatures its very likely you'll have some juice left if needed. And yes against the token decks you bring in the unblockable package of Subterranean Scout, Magmatic Chasm and Break Through the Line. Good luck hope the deck works for you.

Its been so long since I've played standard. It seems like things have slowed down quite a bit since the first zendikar release. I like how aggro this deck is. I am running a monowhite aggro-control deck that comes in around 30 bucks, I built it off the 1996 world champion sligh deck's "mana skeleton". I want to get back into magic again, but I am strictly budget this time. A person can sink a lot of money into this hobby and I feel like budget is the secret to keeping it fun. Thanks for posting such a nasty deck! I will probably own this by friday :)

Deck looks awesome! I have been looking forward to a list like this for Reckless Bushwhacker. This would be a perfect budget deck to introduce a new player or someone who needs to play cheaply. +1

I know your curve is very low, but I do think I would add 1 more land. I'm not sure what to cut however.. definitely 1 of the instants though as the creatures seem to take priority here.

Also out of curiosity, what match-ups do you bring in Zada's Commando?

noobplayer17 The description tells you it's against Mardu tokens. I imagine it's also sideboarded in against other token decks.

I'm testing a similar deck 20 lands and about 10 times only 2 times you go down a land and a magic at every turn you a few drops to 1
