How often has Outnumber actually done something worthwhile? Frequently or not at all?

Fel Outnumber in a deck like this feels like a Fiery Impulse with upside. Now we always side this out vs control-ish decks, but this card has huge value. It is somewhat situational and that's why it's a 2 of. But for 1 cmc instant I can't complain.

How will this deck do post rotation? I'd like to build it but a lot of cards are rotating out in 2 months.

mojojojo13 This deck will take a bit of a hit after Khans and Fate Reforged rotate out. The UPSIDE to the deck is it can easily replace the cards that rotate out. As this deck has no single card that is a must have in the deck he could probably carry it through the next few rotations with little damage done to the deck as long as he can get more goblins. And there are always more goblins

mojojojo13, this deck loses a lot to rotation. Dash goblins, Outburst, Siege.... and I wouldn't hold my breath for replacements, as I doubt we're going to see any Goblins in Innistrad.

Brutal_Felix, more changes I see? Firecraft wasn't working out for you? I can see the utility in Arc Lightning, cost the same and same speed, with flexibility in exchange for power. Could be good.

I'm toying with a very similar build, but I can't find a happy place for it.

You ever have trouble casting Outpost with only 18 land?

Fel yes I loved the reach Exquisite Firecraft gave me but too many times I found myself thinking "man if only I had Arc Lightning right now instead.

Also went back up to 20, I can't seem to be happy with removal numbers.

Any ideas for a replacement creature for mardu scout because it's out of standard soon. I would like to play this but need some good replacements, I'm thinking goblin dark dwellers but only 2

Brocolli maybe just put the 2 Subterranean Scouts in the main deck.

thanks to your deck i was in TOP 4 in FNM :X (maybe not big deal but i was often rhinoeeeed by horny Siege Rhino and i lost only to Abzan after sideboarding.... that guy have a good luck because he often get crappy but very usefull Arashin Cleric and i couldn't do anything with his lifegain)

And thanks to you i made my own vision of great aggro goblins with splashin them with one color... BLACK! not for control.... for sucking life <3

The main idea was to make some tokens, attack with them like your goblins, especially with surged Reckless Bushwhacker and also... Foul-Tongue Shriek

I like Sparkmage's Gambit for aggro. It stops a fatty from blocking, kills most tokens and if they play Languish with X/5s on the board you can get rid of those. I like mono red a lot made a few of mine (with and without Zada)

thattallguy Sparkmage's Gambit is not a good card. It's not a game 1 card and game 2 you'd be better with Roast for a fatty. Also you can't use it for Languish as you stated because both are sorcery speed.

i think about adding into my sideboard two cards

Stoneforge Masterwork (against some burn deck) and Firemantle Mage (against....defender decks ;P )

so maybe it would be helpfull to you?

So I ran this list (mostly) for a little bit, sometimes with Arc Lightning, Sometimes with Exquisite Firecraft. Both are good for their own reasons. Arc gives a bit more value, Firecraft has more reach (which I could have used at my last fnm).

Ultimately though, I cut the 3 Arc Lightning and 2 Outnumber for 4 Atarka's Command and a 3rd Collateral Damage. Atarka's just has so much more going for it. It does take you out of mono red and waaay up in budget, but I think it'll pay off and make the deck strong.

I'm also trying something different for Gameday tomorrow, I'm going to cut the Goblin Glory Chaser and put in Monastery Swiftspear. The haste plus the healthy number of available Prowess triggers makes sense. I know it's not a goblin, but I think the power makes sense and the downside of losing 4 goblins is very minimal.

I still love the deck though! Enjoy goblins while we can guys. They are pretty fun.

great :D

in my local shore, after last FNM where top 4 was 3 aggro (one my R/B gobs, one mono R gobs, and last just mono R) many players had made great sideboard against aggro xD

all my opponents after sideboarding wins 2 games :X (they put 9-13 cards against me, ALL!!)so i lost.... brutal lost :X

Well, just got back from my store's Game Day... had a bit of a low turnout but managed to place in the top 4 regardless.

Played against lots of RB Dragons (some which were very close games but I always managed to come out on top). My only loss was to a BW Eldrazi deck, with Ayli, Eternal Pilgrim, Matter Reshaper, Thought-Knot Seer, and Eldrazi Displacer... Apparently I was a very bad matchup for him, but he managed to take it in 3 games. Lo and behold, who do I face in the top 4? Same guy. He was on the play, got me game 1, I smashed game 2, and then he just hit everything in game 3 and took it. Mild salt, but he won it fair and square. Displacer is a good card, blinks out tokens and attackers. I was able to hit with lots of removal but the Matter Reshaper's replacement effect kept dropping land on his side, so he was able to get the big cards out fast.

Anyways, my RG Atarka build was pretty good. There were no moments at all where I wanted the Arc Lightning, Atarka's was always the right answer. Swiftspears were good too, getting in fast early damage. Fiery Impulse and Collateral Damage are both pretty awesome.

Fel you lost because you lacked the belief in our one true savior, the Goblin King. lol.

February 13, 2016 6:19 p.m.

Goblin Rabblemaster! Goblin Rabblemaster! Must-have for all goblin decks. Goblin War Strike is a another good addition.

Minus one or two lands? Green colorless ramp seems to be an issue post side. Double Jaddi Offshoot into Nissa's Renewal into Ugin, the Spirit Dragon is a bad time. 47 life no thanks. Ugin on turn five is rough. In hindsight, I should have baited the offshoots into a titans strength but I sided out removal for temur battle rage. And B/W eldrazi was a tough one but just apply steady pressure to their wounds and they'll cave. Gideon is a haus. Kill him fast.

February 20, 2016 2:27 a.m.

Nice deck. I recommend Fall of the Titans over Arc Lightning. Have you considered Exquisite Firecraft as a finisher against control decks with U?
