Artifact (2)

Enchantment (3)

This isn't an infect/toxic deck, the gimmick here is to use Virulent Wound and Prologue to Phyresis to automatically set up early poison counters, then counter spells, remove creatures, and proliferate until your opponent hits the big 1-0 (poison counters, not wins).

Blighted Agent is a turn slower than Prologue to Phyresis, but has a potentially bigger output.

Prologue to Phyresis is basic poison with a cantrip.

Virulent Wound picks off small creatures like mana elves and early aggro, and plants the poison.

Vraska's Fall is a decent removal option.

Experimental Augury is another card advantage effect stapled to proliferate.

Thrummingbird is the cheaper of two common cards that can repeatedly proliferate.

Anoint with Affliction makes a small creature go away permanently, or any creature later in the game.

Bring the Ending does a pretty good impersonation of Mana Leak, and can be upgraded to a more color-efficient Counterspell.

Counterspell is the original do-it-all anti-effect. Accept no substitutes.

Snuff Out is one of the best removal cards in the format.

Ponder sets your next few turns, or resets if there's no useful options.

Preordain is a very efficient scry + draw.

Halimar Depths is a mini scry effect on a land.

Waterfront District keeps cards coming in the late game and provides both colors this deck needs.

Bonepicker Skirge provides a barrier against big creatures and lifelink for anti-burn.

Hydroblast is an anti-red card because burn is always popular.

Relic Putrescence is another threat against affinity.

Serrated Arrows is slow but continuous creature removal that plays well with proliferate.

Steel Sabotage is strong anti-affinity tech.

This is still a concept deck, since I'm not sure it's better than whatever's currently around for infect in Pauper (Glistener Elf, Blighted Agent, Might of Old Krosa, Groundswell) but I'm enjoying the idea and want to see how viable it is.
