This is the deck I have taken to man casual meets and the past two FNMs. The first of the two I took second, losing to my dad of all people on monoblack control. And the second time I took first. The deck mainly focuses on stalling out the game until you can cast huge sphinxes revelations and lock down the game with card advantage, board wipe, and planeswalkers. The planeswalkers generally kill the board by themselves. and will win many games. however, more often than not, Blind Obedience is the card that does up to eight damage and saves me all the time. It makes cards like Thundermaw Hellkite and Flinthoof Boar less appealing during the match.I want to talk about things I am not too happy about with the deck. For the mainboard I only really have one problem, and that is the two-of revelation. I would like to put that up to three and take out a Snapcaster Mage. Snapcaster isn't very good just because of Scavenging ooze. and with the sideboard, I was experimenting with the Counicls, and am not happy with them. I either used it to make things like thragtusk not be a thing, but the decks that ran thragtusk generally ran tons of removal so it only stalled thraggypoo for a turn if they didnt have mna open to kill it at the end of my turn after casting the council. The dimir charms only came in when I was on the play, mostly countering farseek, but also some other scorcery cards. The needle came in against decks that took advantage of planeswalkers, but also against monoblack wtth their pack rattyness. The spheres came in where you couldnt keep up with planeswalkers or enchantments. The verdict came in against aggro decks along with Blind Obedience. Blind Obedience also came in against control along with tamiyo and Render Silent. And Witchbane Orb came in against whatever it needed to. That was mostly a local meta call.

Hope this helped you think about esper again. I am going to Re-visit this deck after Rotation, but until then I am going to play a G/W Deck for a little bit and hopefully get to where I am happy about that and post it.
