This mono-red, burn deck is fairly straightforward. Your goal is to cast lots of Chandra planeswalkers and lay down the hurt. Your Oathbreaker, Chandra, Awakened Inferno is a master at laying down consistent hurt and is relatively difficult to deal with immediately because she is cannot be countered. This means you are almost guaranteed to be able to board wipe with her -3 or hand out emblems with her +2. Since her -3 does not affect elementals, the deck is almost elemental tribal with the exception of Chandra, Fire of Kaladesh   and Purphoros, God of the Forge. That means we are running thirteen elementals!

Strategy

This is burn, so the main strategy is obviously dealing damage. Thanks to our Oathbreaker we can deviate from this strategy a bit and utilize some aggro aspects of the game as well. Fifteen creatures means we should almost always have a body on the field and sometimes, as is the case with Nova Chaser, those bodies are fairly scary. If having aggro on your side to supplement your burn is not enough, we are also running four of Chandra planeswalkers as well (six if you count her flip incarnation and our Oathbreaker).

M20 is coming out soon and it has already provided quite a bit of goodies for this deck, most notably is Chandra's Regulator which can do some devastating things should you ever manage to pull off "ulting" a planeswalker like Chandra, Torch of Defiance. In addition to cloning abilities, it is one of our rare draw engines in the deck, alongside Chandra, Fire Artisan.

Some tricks you can pull off out of the blue are dropping Blasphemous Act + Repercussion , instantly blowing up all your opponents. You can pull off a less devastating, but safer version of this with Chandra, Awakened Inferno's -3 ability as well. Sneaking ults out of your planeswalkers with the newly printed Chandra, Acolyte of Flame or Volt Charge is a great way to grab that clutch victory as well. If you are lucky, you might be able to pull off comboing Thespian's Stage + Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle + Vesuva , but it is unlikely.

Deck Struggles

Like most burn decks, you will struggle against lifegain strategies and multiple opponents. Flame Rift will help you whittle people down somewhat, so that your emblems and creatures can take them out, but you will be thankful for Leyline of Punishment when you are faced with that Sylesnian lifegain deck. You are in mono-red, so you will burn out bright if you are not careful.
