Should try Noxious Revival MTG Card: Noxious Revival instead of Reclaim. And if the goal is to mill, other draw spells are far better than Divination. Take a look at Thought ScourMTG Card: Thought Scour, Blue Sun's ZenithMTG Card: Blue Sun's Zenith or Visions of BeyondMTG Card: Visions of Beyond.

Thanks guys!and yes, I have been told it is very annoying :D

@PsymonM77 the goal isn't to mill per say, but the win condition is to mill specifically with Increasing ConfusionMTG Card: Increasing Confusion... right now DivinationMTG Card: Divination works because I always draw 2 cards which can help me a lot... where as Thought ScourMTG Card: Thought Scour is only one, Visions of BeyondMTG Card: Visions of Beyond is dependent on what I have played so far, and Blue Sun's ZenithMTG Card: Blue Sun's Zenith is just too mana intensive, the 3 mana cmc from DivinationMTG Card: Divination works perfectly. I will be using Noxious Revival MTG Card: Noxious Revival instead though, I completely forgot about that one :D

Do you have something to sideboard s for an alternate winning strategy?

I went against a werewolf deck that is top of the line, and I playtested against my own, and I noticed that even if I am transforming their wolves, I have another fog effect ready to go in my hand... 16 cards in here are fog effects so 16/60 is 26.6 repeated chance of me getting a fog effect in my deck, so 1 in every 4 draws gets me a fog effect, so in short, that is a lot of fog effects, plus I can ReclaimMTG Card: Reclaim or Noxious Revival MTG Card: Noxious Revival one from my grave if needed :D.... and i havent thought of a sideboard so these are all options I am considering, thanks :D

Noxious Revival MTG Card: Noxious Revival is better than ReclaimMTG Card: Reclaim.

DarianDDS says... #9

noxious revival is better on the off chance of not having mana open and you can force them to draw the same thing you just killed so you can kill it again. other than that, it's solid. maybe look into lost in the woods

What's the purpose of having Beast WithinMTG Card: Beast Within instead of more draw/mill?

February 23, 2012 11:41 p.m.

Minousmancer says... #12

Beast WithinMTG Card: Beast Within can get rid of a creature, a land, an artifact, or an enchantment, very useful like a Green Oblivion RingMTG Card: Oblivion Ring, but you can also take out land.

Also takes out Planeswalkers which are the main threats to this, or something that makes me not able to cast my FogMTG Card: Fogs

Ah, that makes sense. Watch out for Grand AbolisherMTG Card: Grand Abolisher.

Oh, didn't know that, that's effen RAD!

Also Noxious Revival MTG Card: Noxious Revival lets you stall your opponent's draw for a turn by giving them a worthless card from their graveyard.

Nice deck. I love decks like this. I might build one of these, but I'd like to take out 2x MoonmistMTG Card: Moonmist for 2x Increasing ConfusionMTG Card: Increasing Confusion. Don't know, that might slow down the fog element too much.

I find that maxing it out works well, besides, normally you don't even get an Increasing ConfusionMTG Card: Increasing Confusion in hand until later in the game because of Rites of FlourishingMTG Card: Rites of Flourishing, and if it gets milled, you can Noxious Revival MTG Card: Noxious Revival it, or you can flashback it for double the mill :D

Jace's ErasureMTG Card: Jace's Erasure is quite potent in a turbo fog deck, especially with the rites. add 2 or more of those i would say. its like an early game investment.

February 29, 2012 4:59 p.m.

how do you deal with people dissipating your increasing confusion? or surgically extracting it... you only have two cards to win with, what happens when those are gone? or graftdigger's cage?

February 29, 2012 6:36 p.m.

dquinn says... #21

theurbanraptor has a point. Maybe add one or two Jace, Memory AdeptMTG Card: Jace, Memory Adept?

February 29, 2012 6:55 p.m.

Try Think TwiceMTG Card: Think Twice intstead of divination

February 29, 2012 7:45 p.m.

Curse of the Bloody TomeMTG Card: Curse of the Bloody Tome perhaps?? Also, I don't see this deck doing well against a self-mill deck, or burn decks. Have you tested against them?

February 29, 2012 8:31 p.m.

dquinn the point of this deck is that it doesn't cost a lot. that's why Jace, Memory AdeptMTG Card: Jace, Memory Adept wouldn't work

I was playtesting this and I found that I had trouble when I knew the opponent had counterspells in the deck, but not necessarily in his/her hand. I think it'd be cool to have as an alternate win, as I was often getting to more than 30 life with Elixir of ImmortalityMTG Card: Elixir of Immortality and Blunt the AssaultMTG Card: Blunt the Assault.

How about splashing white for some board clearers? (cough Day of JudgmentMTG Card: Day of Judgment cough) Could be helpful.

+1 for making decks just to be annoying! Check out shuffling for a laugh!
