Rebuild 4;
Main combo
With
Mystic Reflection
foretold it will only cost 4 mana to make 2 copies of something. Not limited to just the creatures in the deck either, can hit the opponents creature and copy them.
Goblin Gathering
value grows the more we cast it.
Recursion w/ creature replication
At worst this nets you two 3/3's and the spells back to cast it again, at it's best it can net you 5+ 3/3's and 5+ spells back
Hand fixing
Fixes consistency in both combo pieces and mana base
Offensive spells
The synergy is nice between these. Deck suffers from sources of additional card draw, or else
Depart the Realm
could replace
Into the Roil
Worth firing off early to clear the board. Big threats from the opposition can be more preferable to a bunch of smaller 1/1's since we can usually just copy them
Some other card's that have been in and out of the deck worth mentioning;
-
Orvar, the All-Form
Worked really well when using a Mystic Dispute on our own creatures. Extra
Terror of the Peaks
. However, you don't actually need an extra dragon to do lethal. Kind of clunky to get going and about the only use he really had in the deck was getting back spells chaining with
Shipwreck Dowser
. However this more or less just netted you a single extra copy for an additional combo piece. If you really wanted to go the full combo route,
That brings us to
Purphoros, Bronze-Blooded
. Take the above mentioned combo and give it haste. However that's not why he is interesting. Can use him to cast the dragon on the opponents end step for 3, allowing us to untap our mana and combo off. Its neat way to go around counter spells also
Same problem, bit clunky to get going, but it worked fairly well. It still a high consideration, and is at least in the sideboard
