Even though I love me some G/W Humans and B/W Odric in standard, I still think my favorite color combination to play is Blue/Red. There's something about consistently burning and bouncing your enemy's cards that can't help but bring a smile to your face :) U/R was actually the first color combo I ever played with so it is near and dear to my heart.

So without further a due, I'd like to pitch the idea for my Red Blue Standard deck. Since, neither color is terribly great in standard, this may need to be a community wide project. PLEASE feel free to comment and give advice, Imma need all the help I can get!

To the deck!

Okay so I want the ultimate bounce/burn deck. I'm thinking mostly instants with a few sorceries and only a couple of creatures that help and work well in tandem with these spells. I want to utilize surge some and madness as much as I can in a blue red deck. FYI I hardly paid attention during Oath of the Gatewatch and Madness cards scare me so I need a bunch of outside opinions.

My whole idea is to keep my opponent off balance until I can swing for lethal damage with Awoken Horror  , Mercurial Geists or cast a successful Rise from the Tides as a finisher!Red combat tricks also make me a happy guy, but don't know if that's risky when I'm not playing mostly creatures? IDK how many creatures becomes too few to bank on having an available target
