I think you should run a few chained to the rock but I like the satyr firedancer

I'd recommend the Battlefield Forge over the Wind-Scarred Crag, that way you can get colored mana easier, since you only have red lands that enter untapped. So if you want to go swiftspear, soulfire, you can't.

Have you considered Chandra, Pyromaster and/or Outpost Siege at all?

Would love to get my hands on a play set of Monastery Mentor so I could play this. What about Burn Away for the side board? I know it's Cmc is super high but the exile effect can work wonders on all the graveyard based decks in Standard at the moment. Decks like Whip are everywhere and they take a little bit of time to set up for the win. In the mean time you can kill there biggest threat and make all the Satyr Wayfinder's they played really terrible.

Played against a deck similar to this one. Deflecting Palm was a nightmare to play against! My opponent did Jeskai for the Ascendancy. Worked OK for him. How about Scouring Sands or Barrage of Boulders to sideboard against weenie decks. Maybe Hushwing Gryff?

Do you know what would be hilarious? Arcbond

Arcbond is pretty hilarious. Especially if your opponent is running burn spells. If they stoke your guy you can Arcbond in response and make them regret that decision.

OK so I built a version of this deck. I had out a soulfire grandmaster, Outpost Siege which I found to be ridiculously useful in my initial runs and nothing else. My opponent swung in with his monstrous arbor colossus and I played Arcbond on soulfire. HIs six creatures each took nine damage, he took nine, and I gained 63 life! (assuming the 9 I took from Arcbond was cancelled out by soulfire)

Oh and mainboard Deflecting Palm is worth it.

That is hilarious! I knew that was a goofy card when I saw it but man...

So I actually copied your deck and went from there but I dropped searing blood and added in 3 deflecting palm, 1 Arcbond and dropped 4 satyr firedancers for seeker of the way. Sarkhan got dropped into the sb to add 2 chandra. Chandra however only really does this deck good by 0-ing her. However you still want to pull off the ult so you +1 when it's kinda terrible. she also dies to a lotof cards So instead I just threw in 2 outpost siege and use that for the khans side.i would run the dragons side if I play against a control deck with tons of removal/board whipes. I also had 4 Bloodstained Mire so I threw those in in place of 4 mountains because...why not? And I also changed 2 more mountains to plains because of the added white. The deck runs very well and mana isn't an issue ever with the new white addition.

I feel you should either have Arc Lightning in the mainboard or sideboard, and move the Searing Blood to the sideboard in either case.
