Must be good if it has the ROUROU seal of approval.

ROUROU,
Thanks TONS! It's funny you should mention Metallic Mimic because I was actually thinking about pulling it back into the deck for testing.

Long story: I had it in the earliest versions of deck, where it was ~1/3 amazing, ~1/3 frustrating due to it dying so easily, and ~1/3 frustrating due to me choosing the wrong creature type. As you'd expect, Servo is the usual choice, but Thopter and Construct are sometimes better ... and there are probably edge cases where Artificer, Bird, or Turtle are correct. Early on, I was (unpleasantly) surprised at how often Opponents and the deck would conspire to make me wish I'd picked something else. But I was wondering what the "frustrating due to me choosing the wrong creature type" percentage would be now, since I have a bunch more reps with the deck ...

Short version: It's back on the maybeboard; thank you again!

And please keep us posted on your playtesting results!

Argy
I unfortunately couldn't find a good card for the ROUROU Seal of Approval, but I thought this would made a superb Argy Seal of Approval! :)

clayperce haha, well, it's because whatever deck I build, I end up placing that scrappy robot in!! Nowadays, I am brewing a Simic deck, with Hadana's Climb  Flip , Animation Module and Metallic Mimic and it's hilarious.

I just finished building your deck. Tomorrow I will drop by my LGS and playtest it. As soon as I finish my matches, I will inform you :)

Argy , just finished looking at your Angrath deck too... I really hope no one at the LGS builds it, cause I am gonna have a really hard time beating them... I mean, with all the removal you got and all those shenanigans (from Cut / Ribbons to tetzimoc ), I might as well hit them with my car to avoid the deck!! Anyways, good work to both of you. Not only for making those kick-ass decks, but for being helpful to the mtg community!!

Coolio, no problem again :) verrryy last cards I think I can suggest, but theyre stretches, is Paradoxical Outcome to retrigger ETB effects, and draw extra cards

Endless Sands does kinda the same thing, and saves things from removal

And Brass's Bounty can deal a ton with the Fireweavers

any spots for Storm the Vault  Flip or Paradox Engine?

Corrosive_Cat,
Since we already have a return-to-hand effect in Decoction Module, I'm not sure about Paradoxical Outcome nor Endless Sands.

I think the deck already has enough wincons, but I could see dropping one (maybe the 'go big' option, if Dinos shift out of the meta) and focusing on the go-wide options, with 4x Reckless Fireweaver. In a deck like that, 1x Brass's Bounty could be really fun.

Thanks, as always!

Athraithe,
Storm the Vault  Flip/Vault of Catlacan was in the very first build of the deck, and I talk about it in the 'Cards I've already tested' section.

Without manarocks and with all the tap effects taking TONS of mana, I'm not really sure what Paradox Engine would do here.

Thanks though!

Wow, that's a cool value play deck! :D

Tried something with Virtuuoso when I first saw the interaction:

Here's the deck, may be you will be inspired: Jeskai Thopters

brox.p,
Thanks, but like I say in the 'Strategy and card choices' section, focusing on the infinite combo is not really what the deck is really trying to do.

Still, your deck looks fun.

Played a Jeskai Version of this at my LGS Standard last night. Went 3-1 with the only loss being a punt vs UW Auras in game 3. Beat RB aggro, UB control and a 4c goodstuff pile.

The white is for sideboard cards (Anointer Priest and Demystify). In my experience testing vs Hazoret decks, I was taking too much damage setting up ModuleTron and a resolved Hazoret was burning me out even if I got my chumpblock engine set up. The Priest was MVP when I boarded it in and won me my match vs RB aggro. The enchantment removal is good for cards that hate us out like Ixilans Binding.

I'm playing Whirs over Glimmer and Reverse Engineer x2 and Storm the Vault over Fireweavers. Im interested in testing Fireweaver and Glimmer. Storm the Vault was incredible when it flipped but does feel a little win more.

Been testing this out and it's an insane deck. Very well made and very consistent. Didn't feel like I found any bad matchups as it outvalued everything. Thanks for putting the time into brewing a sweet deck like this!

PariahHS,
First, congrats on all the wins!

I really like the idea of a Jeskai deck ... I've toyed with Temur just for the Enchantment removal) but Jeskai sounds better for sure.

I understand your choice of Whir of Invention and Reverse Engineer; I liked them a lot. I think my choice to go with Glimmer of Genius is more about my playstyle than the power level of the cards. It seemed like I always had a Whir in hand when I really needed a Walking Ballista, or a Reverse Eng in hand when I was desperate for gas but had no artifacts ... :-D

Good luck with the deck, and draw well!

Thanks so much! And yeah, it seems like it's got game against almost everything (so far) ... I mean, I certainly lose plenty, but even the matches where we lose, it feels like we're in it to the end.

Thank you again; draw well!

I played again this week. Went 2-2. Still playing the Jeskai version I mentioned last time.

2-0 Grixis Midrange. Went super wide both games and he wasn't able to interact before the board got out of control. Whirring for Mimic with ModuleTron out won me both games. It's such a good Whir target, and I think only worth playing with Whir.

1-2 Grixis Midrange

Rolled game one and got owned by River's Rebuke games 2 and 3. That card destroys us.

0-2 Grixis Control

Game 1 He went 3 counters into glimmer into Scarab God. It happens. Game two I almost got a Saheeli (which I tried out of the board this week) ult off with a Virtuoso out, which would've ended the game. Animation Module is sneaky good at trying to turbo out a Saheeli ult against control. He topdecked contempt and eventually ran away with Scarab God.

2-0 GB Midrange

Similar to match 1, went super wide both games with my opponent unable to interact with my combo pieces.

Notes:

I feel like I'm boarding wrong against control. Cutting two turtles, two animation, one fabrication and one crane for the negates and Planeswalkers. I now feel like cutting the one drops is just wrong against almost everything because it lets you get under countermagic. I dunno, boarding with decks like this is always hard.

The white splash still feels worth it. The Fortresses are rarely an issue and the Priest/Enchantment removal sure up some of the deck's weaknesses. I'm tempted to try black for Scarab God, though.

I want to try maindeck Saheeli next week. Gonna run something like this http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/jeskai-modules-3/?cb=1517945394

I also want to test a Pia Nalaar, as a way to make thopters, make thopters better and be a good Saheeli target.

Storm the Vault is crazy good in this deck! Also, I'd highly recommend taking out 1 of each module in favor of Panharmonicon. It helps with ETB's, still triggers the modules, and speeds up the deck while maintaining consistency.

And maybe take out 1 Spire of Industry for a second Inventors' Fair. The life gain can be relevant in board stalls and the ability to tutor is not something to underestimate. Also, that life gain can offset any life lost paid through Spire.
