For ramp you should add Skyshroud Claim

Aura's needed are Spirit Mantle

Shield of the Oversoul

Shane.Allen, I have had Spirit Mantle before, but I had to move it in favor of more auras of other protection, like Shield of the Oversoul. I have that card in deck, and it's definitely a staple. Hmm.. but you're right, I do need more/better ramp cards. I'm debating on sorcery or creatures/chump blockers. Skyshroud Claim is a good start.

Angelic Destiny and maybe Retether

also consider Daybreak Coronet and Celestial Mantle and Aqueous Form

I run a UW modern aura deck.

You are most welcome ay.lobo

Nature's Lore

Spoils of Victory

These are both good ramp. I even like if you Voltron him up you could then destroy all lands, Armageddon, Ravages of War and then you don't have to worry about protection as much.

The_Grape I second Daybreak Coronet but Uril the Miststalker has no blue so you cant do Aqueous Form.

Happy to see another Uril player there's too few of us!

Here's my deck. It's an ultra budget version but it still kicks many a face in. Check out the Enchantment section, you might find some cheap goodies you've missed!

I used to run Uril as one of my first EDH decks. It got a little too OP, so unfortunately I had to retire it. :)

Some all-stars for me:
Extra combat step suite: I ran them all, Aggravated Assault, Waves of Aggression, etc.. So good when your combat step is so important to your deck's success.
One with Nature - cheap aura, and an excellent effect
Serpent Skin / Tiger Claws - flash in for different effects
Unquestioned Authority - the card draw makes this the preferred 'unblockable' aura for me
Spellbreaker Behemoth / Spearbreaker Behemoth - excellent role players
Calming Verse / Vandalblast - asymmetrical mass removal
Dueling Grounds - this was absolutely busted for me, warping the game drastically in Uril's favor

Hey guys, thanks for the patience. I revamped the deck after much testing and playing. I've also updated the descriptions side (but I plan on adding more details later). I added Daybreak Coronet thanks to your suggestion.

shaistyone Extra combat steps are awesome, but I tried to focus on protection rather than double attacking. Trample is important, and I have 5 auras that provide it. Unquestioned Authority was a good call, protection from creatures is super important.I myself don't like to have too many strong creatures. I only have a few that I find extremely important for situational purposes.Instead of Dueling Grounds I use Ghostly Prison. Usually the 2 mana is too much for my opponents.

Thank you guys for the support!

i really like this deck. i run Uril myself, but there is little control Every Uril deck ever you can check here if you want. i think i have chosen some of the best enchantments and one i think you should put in your deck is Blessing of the Nephilim a +5+5 for 1 count me in!

Its good to see something else with Uril instead of my kinda deck <3

Thanks Jestright. Uril is such a fun voltron deck. It sucks that when we think we are done with MTG, we end up playing again and having to re-buy our decks again.

Oh, also thanks for the props _SouLLeSS_. I'll have to take a peek at your deck too. There's always room for improvements, and I'm always checking.

Hi ay.lobo Allow me to return the favour.

First: this is a good deck, though I hate to be at the receiving end of it :)

The only card I miss is Indestructibility: non expensive, fast, boosts Uril, protects him, all rolled into one.

Greater Auramancy: everybody (rightfully) hates this card, but it is so good

And Fountain Watch if you have it.

Hey, GobboE.True, in my quest for limiting my auras in this deck, I left out a pretty important one. Going to have to find room for it. Sterling Grove is my cheaper sister card of Greater Auramancy, and I don't think I'd want to put shroud on Uril, as I myself can't target him either. Haven't seen Fountain Watch before. Cool card.

Myaels Aria would also go great here

Also Mage Slayer is a stupid good artifact to use on him since it triggers before combat damage even goes through

So at first I was like... you run three red cards. Of course you should dump Uril and go Sigarda... but then you have a friend who fogs... and Red is the color to say "damage can't be prevented." so... Add more red.

Love the deck! (unfortuantely it's a bit out of my price range) I've recently been constructing a Budget Uril voltron deck with the intentions of buying it once I'm satisfied. I'm still relatively new to Magic, so if you can give any pointers that would be awesome. Uril, Destroyer of All the Things (Budget Voltron)

Evening Soup2DIE4. Honestly, the most expensive part of the deck is the land! I'll go take a look to see what you got, thanks again.

Have you considered adding Aggravated Assault? With Bear Umbra it is infinite attack phases

How does the list handle common creature hate like Cyclonic Rift, Humility, and Terminus?

Also, could you please drop the "Competitive" hub?

I want to preface this with that I don't want to claim you, your deckbuilding skills, or this deck is bad. I simply want to make notice of the "competitive" hub you placed on this list. I would like to see it removed due to what I believe is a mistake and might be misleading.

Competitive lists are normally Tier 1 to 2.5 lists that tend to either:

A - Be able to race out wins with a tad bit of protects, turn 1-4 wins need to be regular.

B - Able able to set up a lock on the game like Trinisphere + Winter Orb + Tangle Wire, and pull a win through that lock.

C - Be able to counter or remove any combo win or stax lock your opponents drop before they win, and then pull a win yourself.

These three archetypes are "Combo", "Stax" and "Control" respectively. Occasionally decks do fit multiple archetypes and are a hybrid of them.

This deck cannot race consitently between turns 1-4, and it doesn't have good stax, so if it is a competitive list, it should be control. You run 6 pieces of removal and no countermagic (Pyroblast, Illumination, Red Elemental Blast, Guttural Response, etc.), which is a fifth the minimum amount of cEDH straight control lists run.

Please, I don't want to insult the list, just please drop the "competitive" hub.

Here are some lists that are considered Tier 1, the most competitive lists, for reference:

Food Chain Tazri

i hate all of you

Grixis Twin

Chain Veil Teferi

Walking Ball | Thrasios Ballista

Tana and Tymna Blood Pod - Primer

Melt Banana

Ad Nauseam Doomsday Zur

P.S. - Voltron Zur isn't tier one, Zur is a Necropotence/Doomsday combo commander.
