I think you can get a lot of mileage out of tuck effects simply because you're playing white.

I suggest Oblation and Condemn. There are times when giving an opponent 2 cards also means shutting down their entire deck (if you play against any general-centric decks).

There are a couple of weak cards (or suboptimal ones) like the keyrune, Divine Verdict, and Steward of Valeron, but this list is very solid over all.

I do think you could use more land, lowest being 35-36, and some mana ramp in the form of Solemn Simulacrum or Explosive Vegetation. Maybe even Sakura-Tribe Elder and Wood Elves.

I've been working on an Uril, the Miststalker EDH deck as well.

Draw is one of the biggest things in EDH. I'm trying to get more draw creatures in my deck. Some that were suggested to me were Verduran Enchantress , Argothian Enchantress , and Enchantress's Presence .

If you're running Indestructibility then you may as well run Pariah . Such a great combo. Gives you a second option to the Palisade Giant .

Asceticism wouldn't hurt. I see Privileged Position , but the regenerate ability on Asceticism can be handy.

Think about adding a Kessig Wolf Run as well. It made a huge difference in my games. Also since you are using W/R, a Boros Charm would never be a bad thing.

Scanning Gatherer brought to my attention Greater Auramancy and the older, similar card Sterling Grove . I'll keep an eye out for them as well, if you like.

Greater Auramancy is actually the worst card for my deck. The shroud means I would stop being able to target Uril myself. Also, it would stop Indestructibility . Also, I play literally modern only. Thanks, though.

By "modern only," I assume you mean "printed in Eighth Edition and later." (Sol Ring is banned in tournament Modern.) I understand that most of the cards you would want for this deck fit in that category, but limiting yourself on principle like that is never a good idea; always allow for exceptions, like if you got a copy of Rith's Grove .

Also, might I suggest swapping out Prey Upon for Ulvenwald Tracker ? It's another creature to stick Auras on, and the fight ability can be used at instant speed.

Also, for complete silliness in the enchantments deck, Lucent Liminid , the only Enchantment Creature ever printed.

...Aaaand Cloudstone Curio , which will let you bounce your auras to your hand (a roundabout way of "re-equipping" auras).

(I really wish I could edit comments.)

(And again.)

What's with all of the Saproling tokens in the deck? I understand why you have Pollenbright Wings , but why Dreampod Druid ? They don't seem to do much, unless you just need tiny blockers... but there are far better ways of making tokens en masse.

If blockers aren't a constant problem, you should swap the Dreampod Druid for a Gate Hound .

Speaking of creatures, War Report is only going to be useful to you if your opponents have lots of creatures and artifacts. I'd recommend exchanging it for a Celestial Mantle to cover the life-gain base.

Dreampod Druid reads EACH upkeep. Each. It's a 2 CMC Verdant Force . Every time I've drawn it, it has been a life saver. My playgroup is creature spam heavy, and quick defense early on can often mean the difference between being focused and being ignored. War Report is also very very useful. With 3/5 people running Storm Herd , this is an easy way to save my bacon. Celestial Mantle is a great sub, but I currently don't have one.

Cloudstone Curio is a great idea, as is the tracker.

//I wish I could edit posts too jesus christ this site has silly UI

i think Darksteel Ingot is better than Obelisk of Naya

April 15, 2013 7:31 p.m.

Satantokami says... #12

and it's pretty impossible to win with Mayael's Aria :)

a land will be much more usefull

The ingot may be better, but I have the Obelisk already.

I also really like my alternate win condition. I am usually good for mana. Thank you for your suggestions, though.

(The dingot is universally better...)

Also, no Command Tower ?

I recommend finding a spot for Flickerform to keep your commander safe from things like Merciless Eviction , Paraselene , Bane of Progress , or any other mass enchantment whipe

Rienuaa says... #17

I actually swapped Flickerform out. My playgroup says it isn't fair. :P

You might want to add Ancestral Mask , it is solid gold in enchantment heavy decks. Sterling Grove could be a pretty nice addition if you're looking to protect your enchantments and/or get a fairly accessible enchantment tutor, And finally Oath of the Ancient Wood could be fun.

I'm actually trying to stay in ONLY modern frame cards. It's a person challenge whenever I build EDH decks. Thanks though! And the Oath doesn't actually work well, it needs like 3 other cards to actually be worth the cost.

I run dorks because my playgroup isn't sweeper heavy and there are a ton of tokenspam decks. Plus, this deck just needs 1 good turn to go off - if I get one use out of the dorks it tends to be worth it.

It's a personal preference. :P

+1 I am really loving these Uril decks I am seeing! So much fun to have with enchantments!

How does a normal game run for you?
