My working competitive Urza build that focuses on combos instead of a "stax" playstyle. Getting infinite mana with Urza out is the primary goal; just play the entire deck with his ability and activate one of the many, many combos.
COMBOS:
Dramatic Reversal + Isochron Scepter = Infinite Mana that nonland permanents you control produce. Infinite storm, magecraft and untap triggers. Requires: Nonland permanents you control that can tap for at least 3 mana.
- Activate all mana-producing nonland permanents you control by tapping them, adding at least 3.
- Activate Isochron Scepter by paying 2 and tapping it, casting a copy of Dramatic Reversal without paying it's mana cost.
- Resolve Dramatic Reversal, untapping all nonland permanents you control.
- Repeat.
Basalt Monolith + Rings of Brighthearth = Infinite Colorless Mana. Add Codex Shredder to recur as many cards you can in your graveyard:
- Tap Basalt Monolith to add (3)
- Activate Basalt Monolith's untap ability for (3)
- When Rings of Brighthearth triggers, pay (2) to copy the ability
- Resolve the copied ability, untapping Basalt Monolith
- Tap Basalt Monolith for (3)
- Allow the original untap trigger to resolve, untapping Basalt Monolith
- Repeat for infinite colorless mana
- Tap Codex Shedder, pay (5), and sacrifice it, returning a card of your choice from your graveyard to you hand
- When Rings of Brighthearth triggers, pay to copy the ability, returning Codex Shredder to your hand
- Repeat to return additional cards from your hand from your graveyard
Deadeye Navigator + Peregrine Drake OR Great Whale = Infinite Mana. Requires: Both pieces on the field. 3 lands.
- Soul bind Deadeye Navigator with Peregrine Drake when either one enters the battlefield.
- Float at least 3 mana, 2 of which will to activate Deadeye Navigator's ability.
- Activate Deadeye's ability and bounce Peregrine Drake, which untaps up to 5 lands. Only 3 are needed to net positive.
- Repeat, having one more mana every time.
Tidespout Tyrant + Codex Shredder + Sol Ring (Mana Vault or Mana Crypt also work here) = infinite mill:
- With Tidespout and Sol Ring on the field, tap Sol Ring for 2 mana
- Use 1 mana for Codex, and float 1. When codex is cast, bounce Sol Ring with Tidespout.
- Tap codex to mill 1.
- Use 1 floating to cast sol ring. When cast, bounce Codex.
- Repeat steps 1-4 for infinite mill.
Deathrender + Scrap Trawler + Myr Retriever + Blasting Station = Infinite damage
- Equip Scrap Trawler with Deathrender
- With Blasting Station out, sacrifice the equipped creature
- When the equipped creature dies, put Myr Retriever onto the Battlefield with Deathrender's ability and attach it to the creature. Blasting Station will untap.
- Sacrifice Myr Retriever with Blasting Station, putting Deathrender's ability on the stack before Myr Retriever.
- Resolving Myr Retriever ability first, return Scrap Trawler to hand.
- Resolve Deathrendwr ability to put Scrap Trawler into play, with Deathrender equipping it and Blasting Station untapping.
- Rinse and Repeat for infinite ETB, Die triggers and ping damage.
Emry, Lurker of the Loch + The One Ring + Krark-Clan Ironworks = Prevent all damage deal to you and you gain protection from everything each turn
- With each piece on the field (Emry must be able to tap for its ability) and 2 colorless mana available each turn: activate Krark-Clan Ironworks by sacrificing The One Ring, adding 2 colorless mana.
- Activate Emry by tapping it, allowing you to cast The One Ring from your graveyard this turn.
- Cast The One Ring by paying 4 - the 2 mana already out and the 2 generated from KCI.
- The One Ring triggers, giving you protection from everything until your next turn.
- Repeat during each of your turns.
Emry, Lurker of the Loch + The One Ring + Phyrexia's Core = Prevent all damage deal to you and you gain protection from everything each turn. Requires: Emry, The One Ring and Phyrexia's Core on the battlefield. Emry does not have summoning sickness. Mana needed: 5 during each of your turns
- Activate Phyrexia's Core's second ability by paying 1, tapping it and sacrificing The One Ring, causing you to gain one life.
- Activate Emry by tapping it, allowing you to cast The One Ring from your graveyard this turn.
- Cast The One Ring by paying 4.
- The One Ring triggers, giving you protection from everything until your next turn.
- Repeat during each of your turns.
Emry, Lurker of the Loch + Mirran Spy + Krark-Clan Ironworks + Any 1 or Less CMC nontoken colorless artifact = Infinite colorless mana. Infinite storm count. Requires: All 3 pieces on the battlefield, plus a nontoken artifact with mana value one or less that can be cast using only colorless mana. Emry does not have summoning sickness.
- Activate Krark-Clan Ironworks by sacrificing the nontoken artifact with mana value one or less, adding 2 colorless.
- Activate Emry by tapping it, allowing you to cast the nontoken artifact from your graveyard this turn.
- Cast the artifact from your graveyard by paying its mana cost.
- Mirran Spy triggers, untapping Emry.
- Repeat.

The Reality Chip + Sensei's Divining Top + (Foundry Inspector or Etherium Sculptor) = Infinite card draw. Infinite draw triggers. Near-infinite storm count. Requires: All 3 pieces on the battlefield, with The Reality Chip attached to any creature you control.
- Activate Sensei's Divining Top by tapping it, drawing a card and then putting Sensei's Divining Top on top of your library.
- Cast Sensei's Divining Top from the top of your library by paying 0.

- Cast Sensei's Divining Top by paying 0.
- Forensic Gadgeteer triggers, creating a Clue token.
- Activate Urza's first ability by tapping the Clue, adding 1 blue mana.
- Activate Sensei's Divining Top's second ability by tapping it, causing you to draw a card and put Sensei's Divining Top from the battlefield on top of your library.
- Activate the Clue by paying 1 and sacrificing it, causing you to draw Sensei's Divining Top from the top of your library.
- Repeat.
