5th Place finish at FNM - 10/04/13 —Oct. 7, 2013

Fifth place finish out of 14 people. I really should have wrote things down but...eh.

1st Round: Boros Midrange - 1-2.

My only loss for the night because i couldn't stabilize. Even with the Scry lands i wasn't able to get enough mana to wipe the board when he came out swinging. He ended up in 4th place that night.

2nd Round: UW Control - 2-0

Counterflux seriously demonstrated why having red in the deck is amazing. Obviously the rounds were slow, but when he decided to drop the AEtherling, he ran into Counterflux. I was then able to drop my own AEtherling and take the game.

3rd Round: Mono Green Aggro - 2-1

This was a fun game. I went into pro tour top deck mode and was able to answer all of his threats while slowly boarding up. The second game i couldn't stabilize in time. The third game was a doozy, combined with misplays on both of our parts. We both overlooked that Mistcutter Hydra is pro blue when i went to target with a Detention Sphere. Because of that, he lost two of them with both of them having 5 counters on each of them.

4th Round: Dimir Control - 2-0

He was running a dimir control deck that focused on Ashiok and mill. Syncopates and dissolve were the head liners here.
