Thanks Penthoplayer for the suggestions. Time Stop is getting more and more appealing in my meta. I love Soldevi Excavations I'm going to have to look in to picking one up in the future.

I know it's pricey, but I also highly suggest Invoke Prejudice. So oppressive.

noctis366, Steaditup I actually just recently removed it. my meta shifted to higher spell combo and less threatening creatures. I did in fact have it in there for over a year

Telepathy is a must for me in a control-heavy deck. Perfect information is great for the win percentage in my experience.

Proteus Staff - great rattlesnake card, or you can replace your own creatures

Duplicant - unconditional removal + great w/Deadeye

and overall, more draw tech. You don't want to run out of spells when you need them. (Rhystic Study, Recurring Insight, Mystic Remora, etc)

Is there anyway to make this deck more "casual"? I'm trying to build a deck like this that won't have my play group hating me.

@khayoz

If you take out some of the raw broken cards and don't play 100% counter magic there's quite a lot of blue magic that is fun,fun,fun..

noobaa22 This deck is casual in my Meta. I play against some hyper-competitive combo builds and some aggro, stacks, and land Destruction.

Also this deck is FAR from 100% counter magic. There is only 12 counterspells in this build.

Raw broken cards? what do you even mean by that what cards are broken?

khayoz there is a lot of ways to make this deck fit your meta more appropriately. what are you trying to accomplish in your build? is it posted on your account

shaistyone Thank you for the comment.

Telepathy is a great card but I know all the cards that i need to worry about in my meta and can go off with out interruption thanks to Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir abilities.

Proteus Staff looks fun but I know my field and its almost always creatures free thanks to only having 10 out of 100. however i might find room in my Sharuum the Hegemon build!

Duplicant I agree and see the uses. but was removed for being not versatile enough. doesnt get me closer to my wincon.

Rhystic Study love this card but for somereason i never land it on the field I am always doing things that are more "important" at the time.

Recurring Insight Never liked this one...

Mystic Remora i haven't bought it yet i've been lazy on getting this card.

+1 for the extra planar lens tip. I have soooo many snow covered lands from when I first started playing. Bout time they became hip again.

You got the wrong Teferi lol. This Teferi has no cEDH potential anymore. This is a casual commander and strategy.

I'm curious how you came to the conclusion that this is cEDH viable.
