U/W Control deck I will be playing early into Theros.

Playing control decks in a new meta early on is generally thought of as an unwise decision but with the card pool U/W have access to I feel it can combat a few of the early decks we are sure to see, such as Mono Red (or R/x) Aggro, Selensa Midrange and W/B Midrange/Controlesk.

For the aggro decks preboard we have the 4 Supreme Verdict, Ratchet Bomb, Detention Sphere to help keep the critters off the board. With Jace, Architect of Thought and Sphinx's Revelation to stem the bleeding. Lavinia of the Tenth is in there just to test out against the red aggro decks.

Midrange decks we the cards mentioned above as well as tricks like Quicken into Supreme Verdict.

The only card that worries me is Thoughtsieze. That can rip away our board wipe or Sphinx's Revelation that can completely change the state of game, or even take away an AEtherling.

I haven't opted to go for too many counters as I feel we may need to play like a tap out control list with cards like Divination, Supreme Verdict and Jace, Architect of Thought in the main.

Please tell me what you think or any cards you would recommend I try out! Thanks!
