So... you know that moment that you run out of ideas for a deck to run and you run UW control. My final turnout on the day was very surprising, and so i was pretty pleased with 4-1

So, this deck takes an odd look on UW Control, being "somewhat budget", only using only one Jace. My strangest of ideas was my removal, 4x Valorous Stance, 3x Stasis Snare, and 2x Silkwrap. I knew Hangarback Walker was going to be fairly common in decks I would go play against, and so exiling cards were massively useful. I originally tried 3x Swift Reckoning, but I found that most of the time, it wasn't played at instant speed when I wanted it to. Most importantly, Stasis Snare could remove Gideon once it became a creature.

End Hostilities was another odd choice. Planar Outburst is much better, but End Hostilities worked better against awakened land. To be honest either would have helped.

Ojutai's Command was by far the most useful spell, it always feels amazing when you counter a creature and then draw off of it, or even return Jace to the battlefield.

Archangel of Tithes was my favorite piece of tech here, it was always a surprise for each opponent, and it helped lock down your opponents creatures in faster match ups.

So game one was against a pretty sweet build that very nearly beat me twice; Mono-White Allies. This deck was quick and very irritating, as it played cheap allies early on, then supported them with things like Gideon, Ally of Zendikar and Hangarback Walker. Naturally, he couldn't deal with Jace and so eventually lost when Jace entered the battlefield alongside Dragonlord Ojutai, 2-0

Round 2, Abzan Aggro. During the rounds he didn't draw any Anafenza or Siege Rhino, and so I picked up game one fairly quickly. On game 2 I sided in Pearl Lake Ancient and won the game fairly easily from there on after.

Round 3, Temur "Super-Friends". This deck was... interesting to play. It had me on the ropes a lot during the two matches, but Ojutai pulled through and he couldn't keep it off the table.

Round 4 was possibly my favorite, a sweet brew of Abzan Warriors, basically an old BW Warriors list with 4 Siege Rhinos slapped in the mix. It was fairly quick to get me down to low health, but he didn't pack much removal and Ojutai took over the game from there.

Round 5 was against an anticipated Abzan Blue list. I eventually won the first game, but for the last two games he sided in more fast paced stuff and out-tempoed me.

This list was very good to play, and with a bit of tweaking could be a lot better. I want to see what you think of the deck, and want to know what sort of improvements could be made.
