jeskai control is HERE!!!

damn i worked quite hard on this one. probably the best deck ive built in standard.and honestly i have mixed feelings in sharing it this early

coming from azorious, i developed into this polished jeskai list. a good deck is always evolving, as u will realize is true for this deck, while reading the description. it may seem worth going straight blue red only, but believe me, u need some of whites exile stuff and fragmentize in the SB isnt too shabby either. there might be valid UR versions of a torrential gearhulk flash built, but i still feel more comfy with this version in jeskai. my last changes made me kick out avacyn for 2 unsubstantiate. i will test if thats the right decision.

so - for me - this deck the way to go in the new standard. if u get a mana-playable hand and some counterspells (u want rebuff turn 2 and a 3mana counterspell turn 3 ideally), theres almost no way anyone can beat u. believe it or not :p

with the deck, u have to know how to mulligan. of course u can loose if u draw shit starting hands. its dangerous to start the game without enough answers if u face aggro. but as i said, if u got a counter curve - theres not much OP can do but loose.

still working on the manabase, not 100% sold on evolving wilds... maybe just 2

just some things might be worth 2 mention

1.:yes i play NO spell queller. tested it. dont like it. i want instants in my gy

[edit: did cut rolling thunder.. not valid anymore] 2.: of course u can cut rolling thunder. its not a must in the deck. more a fun, flexible card which grows in value if game lasts long. i like it. play it as boardwipe. or as PW killer. or just to hit 10dmg in the face. it very strong, even though u cannot gearhulk it :( this ..leads to:

3.: ...a valid option which comes to my mind is cutting rolling thunder for 1 unsubstantiate. i would like to play 2 unsubstantiate, to more often be in a good starting spot. we WANT to slow down the game, so making him loose one turn of tempo is good for us. if i will work unsubstantiate in there , im gonna cut rolling thunder and probably one angel. its tough decision though, since its hard to evaluate unsubstatiate. it can be the trick that brings u victory or a little closer to victory. but sometimes it will be a dead card sitting in your hand late game. i will test this. (EDIT: changed the list like i described, also did +1stasis snare)

4.: if u hate people making u loose with turn 4 marvel into ulamog or shit, play this deck. put playsets of negates and ceremonial rejections in SB and make them bleeeed for playing that sloppy noob deck!!!!! :p

5.: yeah i know theres too much stuff in the SB its just a bunch of cards that ARE good SB cards in this deck an everyone will end up with his personal SB to match his area's meta game anyways, i assume :))
