After a weekend of playing MTG for the first time, I decided to build a deck that will give me a chance of playing at local events and getting to know the game a bit better. After lucking-out on some cheap cards to help build this, I'm looking for any sort of input on how to play/develop this.

At the moment, I'm looking at an aura-heavy deck, but I'm also quite wary about the amount of removal in Standard at the moment, so I'm confused and stuck in a no-mans-land. Initially, my thoughts are to play as many combos of tapping opposition creatures as possible, in order to give me time to buff my own creatures. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
