Sideboard


I've always had a thing for prison decks, and for flicker decks. So I decided with modern I should combine 2 of my favorite deck types; or archetypes; and came up with this fun brew.

Any suggestions are welcomed. I have a list of "maybeboard" as well I will add in a little later.

So i played the deck for FNM and it came in first place. Was only a small number of people there, so heres the games

Round 1: Mono Blue Bounce 2-0

Round 2: Turn 2 Infect 2-1

Round 3: GW Auras 2-0


Round 1: Mono Blue Bounce **2-0

This game had come down to 5 minutes, where it came down to having Luminarch Ascension about to be online, and locked out the other player, by playing Isochron Scepter with Silence imprinted onto it, with having Glimmerpoint Stag + Venser, The sojouner combo in play, along side Runed Halo Gideon Jura Luminarch Ascension which was about to be online.

Round 2: Turn 2 Infect **3-1

This one went to 3 games. All 3 games, I had Path to Exile in hand, and was able to get rid of his infect guy everytime. Game 1 is the game I had lost. and all because i did not draw into a Runed Halo which would have shutdown the creature which he had in play. instead i drew a land, and took all the damage. Game 2 I again shut down the turn 2, and as able to lock him out with Ghostly Prison and Runed Halo. Game 3, was all bounce tricks with Venser, Shaper Savant until my Luminarch Ascension was online, and was able to go through his wall of little 1/1 infect dudes.

Round 3: GW Auras **2-0

In Game 1, i was able to lock out their Gladecover Scout with a turn 2 Runed Halo and they conceided after turn 5 of having their Slippery Bogle locked out with another Runed Halo. Game 2, sideboard in 2 Glaring Spotlight. Mulligan to 6, turn 1 i play a Glaring Spotlight. turn 2 Isochron Scepter with Silence imprinted on it. turn 3 was runed halo naming Gladecover Scout and that was the lock down for the concession again.
