I believe that Devouring Light is just a better card than Kill Shot for this deck. It would get rid of a blocker for one of our finishers, Pearl Lake Ancient and Prognostic Sphinx so that's already a bonus. Convoke on it isn't that big of a deal, really only mattering when we have Elspeth tokens hanging out. WW in the casting cost is a little awkward, since if we don't hit a dual land, we have to choose to have that or Dissolve up on turn 3.

Divination>jace?Weave Fate? This deck while it will do ok is lacking the draw spellsLast breath could also be replaced I believe because it is not that good and I believe that a copy or two of Meditation Puzzle could be helpful

Thanks for the comment! There's a lot of debate about what's better, Divination, Weave Fate, and Font of Fortunes. I personally think that Weave Fate is the best out of them due to its instant speed. I do see the drawback in having to wait an extra turn, but I think its worth it. This would allow me to counter something on turn 3-4, which is great. If they don't play anything threatening, then I can just pop a Weave Fate at the end of their turn, no big deal. If they do play something, I can counter it. It's a trade-off I think is very much worth it. I do think that Last Breath is worth it, since it hits things like Courser of Kruphix and other nasty creatures I need to get rid of. I really don't care about the life they can gain, since once I get a win-con going, they can't do anything to stop it. And to wrap it all up, I do not think that Jace, the Living Guildpact is a bad card. He lets me filter the crap out of my deck, which is just awesome.

+1 for the amazingness against my sultai empty the pits deck. I ended up losing in a grind against this and this is a fraction of the cost. I never realized how filthy pearl lake ancient is

It certainly is a filthy card. A guy copied it and then smashed my face in for 18 damage in one turn from prowess and he countered his own spells.....twice....

Yes I have. I didn't like it a lot, I preferred to just straight up kill them rather than bounce them, only delaying the inevitable. I think waiting a turn is just fine as well. Not really a problem with me.
