I've playtested Hangarback Walker and it is amazing in this deck. The last game I played, they cracked a 3/3 Hangarback while I had a Thunderclap Wyvern and Stratus Dancer on board. The next turn I Mockeried the TW and swung for 15 in the air - Game over! Definitely much better than the Shorecrasher Elementals that I will be replacing. The question now is should I just use 2? The only card I'd consider swapping anther one for is Faerie Miscreant, and that card-draw engine with her has served me well.

Added Erase to the Sideboard for all the pesky removal enchantment buzzing around the meta.

I really like this deck. Post-rotation I'm considering building something like this. My one comment is that the one-drop slot seems a little thin, and with basically no taplands, you usually won't have a turn 1 play. Additionally, 2 drop slot is a bit stuffed. I'd cut 2 Negates for 2 more Faerie Miscreants and maybe a Stratus Dancer for a maindeck Dispel.

OminousRex, I've got ideas, if you're interested in unusual stuff and/or don't mind testing large changes. I don't have a whole lot of time for the next couple days, but I'll try to fit in time if you want to bother. This deck might have some good ideas for more ways to use ETB triggers - many of those ideas would just be explaining stuff out of there better. ~Bantflash Displacement

With the addition of the Hangarback Walkers, this deck has gone undefeated for 2 weeks now at my local FNM. I've been playing and tweaking this deck for over 3 months now and thanks to the many suggestions here this deck has become extremely competitive. I'm always open to further suggestions but what I would really like is feedback on how it's done for others who have played it.

Oh. Well, my bad, then. I'm afraid I can't test it as such. Please, advertise that up top, with game overviews! ;) They're great for quickly showing how the deck plays in a tough environment.
As for suggestions... I hadn't realized it was particularly established. I'll drop that down to one: Why Stratus Dancer?

Stratus Dancer is used for board protection against instant and sorcery spells. Protecting a Mirror Mockery combo for a couple turns can win the game.

Right. I feel like I know something a lot less clunky for this deck, but my mind's not functioning well enough today to come up with it. Have you tested Outpost Siege, as a quick, middling suggestion?

Hi could you please give some advice on how to play this deck for example do you play an mockery second turn or do you wait because you don't want to play it without your chance to negate removal?

So my MTG budget is pretty trash, I used to play pacmans version (I was the one that suggested the name Blugrow!) but got burnt out of it after a while. I've been following your white version for a while now and wondered what you would suggest taking out for budget reason. What would you use to replace Hangarback Walker, Flooded Strand and Windswept Heath. Perhaps Shorecrasher for hangarback. And how about simple enter tapped-gain life lands or even a Evolving Wilds maybe? Would it be a better idea to use some sideboard cards over Hangarback Walker? Sorry for all the questions!

i tested the deck today an must say its damn nice. it still felt like faerie miscreant is too good to just have 2 of em. i think its kind of THE ENGINE of this deck
maybe +1 faerie miscreant-1 praerie stream
i think 4 is too much anyway (had 2 on opening hand which sux and also i think the decks curve is low enough to play 23 lands!

This is a great idea dude! I actually built BluGro, the deck you based this off of after I saw it in the feature queue, but it wasn't quite effective enough. I think the white in here is a great idea though. My question: why the Windswept Heaths? Could these not just be replaced with either Tranquil Cove or just basic lands? They seem like a huge budget pump, and though they help to thin the deck, I want to have my lands either enter untapped or give me some bonus, such as a life. Just a suggestion. I'm going to play FNM with this this week, and I'll let you know how it goes.

The windswepts really are just for deck thinning and not at all necessary for the mana required to run this deck efficiently. You can replace them with whatever lands you see fit but I wouldn't suggest dropping to less than 24. Believe me when I say it won't be consistent enough with less lands. Also, don't play your hand all out... timing is everything. Hangarbacks are the best first play in this deck. Don't be afraid to take some initial damage. Pump those hangars then start using them. This deck becomes sic at turn 4, and it comes outta nowhere. It does take some practice to figure out the pace and how to deal with different types of decks, but it's got tools that work well against anything they will through at it.

How do Hangarbacks do against Reflector Mage?

Reflector Mage is a badass card. That's why there are 4 of them in this deck. I bet they can't Mockery their own Reflector Mage though ;).

Hey I loooove this deck! I went 1-1-2 on the night, but the deck felt really good.- Round 1 was against 4c Converge, and I won game one, but game two he sideboarded well and won. Game 3 went to time, but given a turn or two, I would have won.- Round 2 was against Jund. Game 1 was like a dream. Nothing he landed stuck for more than a turn. Game two dragons overwhelmed mem and my thopters couldn't keep up. Game 3 was tight, but a flashed Thunderclap Wyvern with 7 thopters won it.- the other rounds were unremarkable; the loss was to mana screw, and the draw was to control

well i changed my opinion about faerie miscreant.since itheres better targets for mockery, i dont see a reason why play 2 of em i dropped the remaining 2 for 2 dispel to give some more removal - counter possibility.

also, could u say something about your sideboarding plans?
i think Displacement Wave seems to be hurting yourself way too much when playing all these tokens.
and in general i find i wuite hard to take any of the stuff out while not ruining the deck..
February 20, 2016 7:02 p.m.
I sided out (in general) taking out valorous stance for immolating glare and negate for dispel/disdainful stroke
February 21, 2016 12:56 a.m.
I've been playtesting this against my deck Sizzle.
It's an unusual deck for the current meta but might be interesting for you to try.
I like the freshness of your deck.

It's not a 2/3, it's a 2/3 lifelink. Big difference.
Definately need 4 Reflector Mage in any white/blue deck. Just insanity. Used it in my Displacement deck and even land screwed unable to displace my wins were done with mostly reflector on its own. Especially ceippling vs aggro.
