This looks like a ridiculous amount of fun to play. I like how even late game this deck can last since 2 wingmate triggers gain a lot of life and give us more bird tokens.

Reflector Mage Makes this deck gross and limits the amount of plays the opponent can make efficiently.

Overall +1

I used the last version of this deck that you had posted for FNM and went undefeated with one draw in time because my opponent came late. I was playing with less than half a sideboard and missing a stratus dancer because I couldn't find it in time for fnm. Anyway, round 1 I played against some budget eldrazi ramp, easy 2-0 Round 2 I played against Planeswalkers.dek. The main board negates came in handy. Round 3 I played against Atarka Red. Won g1 lost g2 and won g3 by bouncing his creatures every turn with Reflector Mage + Mockery. Round 4 I played against Grixis Dragon control. I beat him g1 and he wrecked me g2. If I had had a complete sideboard, I would have had a better chance at winning. We went to time in g3 but I was in the winning position. +1 I love the deck. Thunderclap was kind of weak though tbh.

Thanks for you feedback sadboys2002. I am glad to hear that the deck performed well for you :). I find that the best play for Thunderclap Wyvern is to flash him in at opponents eot after you've cracked a Hangarback Walker with a block (don't forget to pump it after declaring it as a blocker). It can attack immediately on your turn and pump all those thopters and any other fliers you might have up. If you can play a Mirror Mockery on it at beginning of your turn, all fliers will get +2/+2 when he attacks :).

BTW, Chandra, Flamecaller can really wreck this deck so make sure you save a Negate and bring in Disdainful Stroke from SB if you see her make an appearance, which also is the answer to a Superfriends deck.

OminousRex: It was suggested to take out 2x Thunderclap Wyvern and replace with 2x Gideon, Ally of Zendikar, or 1x Gideon, Ally of Zendikar and 1x Wingmate Roc. This is, however, in the previous version of the deck, like mine that I changed a little bit, at http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/mirrors-edge-2/ . What do you think?

I can see bringing in another Wingmate Roc or perhaps another Hangarback Walker to replace one of the Thunderclap Wyverns, but the damage coming from this deck is in the air, and the Wyverns can turn annoying damage into lethal damage in a single turn when it's played right. The key is getting thopters in the air and the morphed Stratus Dancers. They don't look dangerous enough for your opponent to bother to remove them, but if you can play a Wyvern at their eot when they get tapped out it gets really ugly for them. Bringing out Gideon for his emblem can have the same effect so it's worth a try. I have had too much success with them in my meta to change it though, so I'd like to know how he does if anyone makes that substitution. :)

really love the deck, fate forgotten could be better than erase in the sideboard depending on your meta, especially if theres hangarbacks, youve really made quite an impressive build the synergies in the build are through the roof

Thanks for the props pacman97edition! I added 2 Gideon, Ally of Zendikars to the deck on suggestions from other users and he is definitely a big improvement. Thanks again for creating the original idea and the inspiration behind this deck!:)

I made a deck inspired by yours in order to fit my card pool and cut the cost. If anyone is interested in a slightly cheaper/similar deck, here is mine. Go ahead, Mock me. (Direct deck link isn't working for some reason.)

How do you like Avacyn as a replacement for the Wingmate Roc after rotation? Same cost, similar curve. Vastly different effect but Avacyn is still going to be strong.

Oh, and Invocation of Saint Traft could also work well as it's trigger is similar to mirror mockery, and gives us something that could SOMEWHAT fill the void left by Roc (additional flyers).
