Would you consider using Imposing Sovereign ? It seems like it would go along with Banisher Priest well and is similar to blind obedience.

I would if I were going for aggro approach. Since I'm going for more control then aggro, the blinds extort will serve a better purpose.

I'm not very good with control but I do play a lot of aggro, it would definitely be a great sideboard card against an aggro deck since it slows it down considerably and if they haven't killed you by the 5th turn, you got them. It was just a suggestion, good luck with your deck :)

I've considered imposing sovereign.. if the obedience doesn't work then I might add some in. Thanks!

I dont know about that Capashen Knight , i would put the Precinct Captain instead. Lavinia of the Tenth is a good card against aggro, you should put one in sideboard at least. +1

Added lavinia to sb. Also managed to pick up some more cards to make the deck more annoying.

I would run the Render Silent s in your maybeboard over the Silence . :P Your deck is pretty similar to mine: Azorius Control (Post-Innistrad Rotation)

I would also take out the Codex Shredder s for something else like Angel of Serenity or Jace, Memory Adept .

Looks great, +1'd :)

I do have 2 AoS that could replace the codex. I was just using it to annoy. It also works great with the charm plus it can get back a vital card late game. Ill tinker around with both.

actually, ajani is a terrble card in this deck, because you only have two creatures (that are not played until late in the game) which makes this first two abilities worthless, then you frequently wipe the board, which makes his ultimate also bad.

Jace, Memory Adept is a great planeswalker for any control deck, giving you an alternate win condition in milling.

Blind Obedience should not be in the main deck, instead, either play Syncopate , Render Silent , or Haunted Plate Mail (all of these should be two ofs) and add another Sphinx's Revelation .

Actually I have 6 creatures if you include the vaults and Gideon. But I see what you're saying. I'm not sure about removing blind obedience. Most ppl around here use creature heavy decks and the extort is quite handy. I'd love to get another revelation, but no one will part with them :( I could remove ajani for planar cleansing or jace memory adapt.. if I can get ahold of 2. Thanks for the advice!
