Looking at changing up the sideboard a little. I don;t know if it was just the decks I played against or not, but I never brought in Spellskite , and almost never brought in Oblivion Ring . I want to run a bit more protection for my guys, so maybe Faith's Shield or Corrupted Resolve or Turn Aside . I'm not sure yet.

Wow, very nice record! Congratulations! I love Corrupted Resolve by the way, as a 2- or 3-of (probably in the sideboard because of the pesky cavern).

Haven't gotten to go to an FNM in a while, but I will be playing this tonight. Any ideas for last minute changes? Have I missed an big meta shifts in the last few weeks?

i dont think so... solar flare has been picking up some steam again as of late, but i think your sideboard deals with that just fine.have you considered Venser, the Sojourner ? he has great synergy with infect creatures and you can bounce a Corpse Cur to continually bring back your creatures. doing this would also allow you to board a bit more control to help you out in case you dont get that early game win that aggro infect decks like.

I used to run Venser, the Sojourner , but it was a lot slower, and Corpse Cur is also really slow. Ideally I want to be winning turn 4 or 5, not setting up for a win. I like that Venser makes all my guys unblockable, but Artful Dodge does enough and its a whole lot cheaper.

fair enough. i just personally like slower infect decks as i feel they are more reliable. maybe im just not an aggro infect type player, but i always seem to have a hand full of instants to buff creatures with no creatures in sight. i like venser as you can run 2-3 of him and take out like 9 cards and have the same effect. slower? yes... but throw in some control and it works just fine. but again, im not much of an aggro player. if you want to stay aggro, a good card i would think about adding would be Unsummon or Disperse . it can mess up their tempo, help you swing for damage, or save a creature that is about to get doom bladed. can also be used to as a ping with livewire lash.

i didnt, actually. he is not going to be doing normal damage to his opponent. and if he wants to use it on his own creature to save it or to deal 2 infect with the livewire lash, i dont think it likely that he will want to take a damage in the process.

I like the idea of Unsummon , but I still think that Artful Dodge does the job just fine, I need to do something though because last week I went 3-2 losing to mana screw mostly. Maybe one more land? I don't know. I can't go to an FNM this week, and my local store is running a draft anyway, so I have some time to play around with it.
