Saw a list that reminded me that Eriette, the Beguiler is still a card. Wanted to try a refresh on an older list I tried a while ago.
I guess it turned into more of a control list? Get Lost and Kitnap and Coerced to Kill play keepaway with the opponent's bigger threats. With Eriette in play Astral Wingspan can grab an opposing 5-drop creature on the cheap, and Asinine Antics can grab all the opponent's token creatures, I think. Leyline Immersion is a dumb cute trick I'm fond of.
Braids, Arisen Nightmare is a bit more control, especially when you're grabbing opponent's creatures. It's usually hard for players to deal with Braids saccing auras every turn.
Zoetic Glyph tends to be the main finisher when the opponent doesn't have many blockers. With Eriette the Glyph can grab one of the maps you gave the opponent from Get Lost.
Decided to go with the cave package for lands. Volatile Fault - Forgotten Monument - Captivating Cave I feel like the mana fixing works out well enough while mostly coming into play untapped and somewhat minimizing the pain part. And the fault can deal with a problematic land.
Tempted to run Conduit of Worlds to regrow the fault every turn or regrow one of the auras Braids sacced every turn.
