MoronPlayz: That's a really good idea! Not the route I want to take though, I feel that Price of Glory is the better way to go. It's more difficult to remove, the deck has almost no way of being affected by it, and when affected it wont hurt much, but for the opponents it will. Will put Price of Glory in when I find a spot for it.

Brhodes1119: I believe you, he just doesn't show up for me when playing. He needs to make a better effort at being shuffled to where I can draw and play him in the future. I'll take him off the underperformers list!

Yeah Grim Flayer is even better than Mirri's Guile and Sensei's Divining Top in the deck when he connects!

Olive_pdx: Thank you! I get what you're saying, this deck walks a fine line on being too oppressive in my meta so I try my best at tuning it to be just below that. I'd love to see your list when you've made one!

Wihito Here's the decklist that I last played and subsequently retired: Vaevictis build I have since converted it into Sek'kuar brew and I am planning to build an OG Vaevictis Asmadi deck in the very near future.

Hey again, how do you feel about Rhythm of the Wild & Domri, Chaos Bringer ? I myself am intrigued how well they enable the casting of Vae; Rythm by letting you not worry about being Mana Drain ed and Domri who can, with lands on curve, let Vae attack on T5 without any other ramp, which is pretty good IMO. His creature digging is pretty good as an option too. I also like that Riot plays nicely with other haste sources and creatures Vae brings out (and it can bring Vae himself to that magic 7 power).

On a related note, how is Anger working for you? I find it kinda hard to get it into the graveyard in a timely manner since IMO the main purpose of haste is to get Vae's attack trigger ASAP.

Coward_Token: Nice to see you here again! Rhythm of the Wild is definitely a card I've wanted to add since I first saw it, and I just got it this week! I think the riot on all creatures is super solid, and because the deck has many high cost creatures the "can't be countered" is so much better when you know you can (most likely) safely cast them. On the other hand, Domri, Chaos Bringer is only relevant with his +1 ability and planeswalkers in my meta will most likely die before they can be used again, which is why I replaced Sarkhan Vol with Rhythm of the Wild .

Yeah Anger is a tricky one, I've found that he's easiest to kill with political deals. For example I'll say "kill Anger with your blockers and you get to pick what Vaevictis targets of your stuff next time he attacks" and they'll agree on it.

Other than Rhythm I've also added Golgari Findbroker , Steel Hellkite , Verdant Catacombs , Volrath's Stronghold , Wooded Foothills , The Eldest Reborn and Animate Dead . What do you think? :D

chiri: Thank you! It's what I'm trying to accomplish with my deck so I'm glad that you think so. I've just updated the deck with a few cards and added some bling!

Not super keen on Golgari Findbroker due to its CMC but its OK here, esp. since you got a lot of enchantments and like saccing lands (otherwise I'd ask you to reconsider Hua Tuo, Honored Physician ). The rest are fine too.

I think you are missing a huge vaevictis all star that is Drownyard Temple , it is amazing since you can easily recur it

Have you ever thought about Dragon Fangs , it works the same as Dragon Breath , you have redundancy with returning sac outlets and can be political too putting it in opponents creature

This deck is great! I have been refining a Korvold, Fae-Cursed King land and creature sac deck, and this has given me some ideas.

For land recursion, I recommend Splendid Reclamation. With Ayula's Influence and Ashnod's Altar, I had 38 mana turn 7. It can really turn things around. For sacrificing lands, I like God-Eternal Bontu. It gives quite a bit of card advantage, and having a Korvold or Gitrog will double that.

This is beautiful. I really dig your intent behind the deck too. Ever considered these? Herald of Leshrac, Mimic Vat, Path of Discovery, Titania, Protector of Argoth, Sneak Attack, Generator Servant

Coward_Token: I'm slowly making the deck more creature heavy, so I might exchange the two of them later on!

zulado: I used to have Drownyard Temple in the deck but the cost felt like it was too much each time, and there's little space for colorless utility lands so I'd rather have other card take the sacrificial role for Vaevictis. There's too little benefit from trample with Dragon Fangs, while haste is a huge benefit from Dragon Breath. Thanks for the suggestions though!

VorelNailo: Splendid Reclamation along with Life from the Loam would be the first cards I'd put in if I ever scrapped my "only permanents" restriction! The other cards fits well with a creature token strategy, which this deck doesn't have. Though I'd like to put in more non-creature token generators because Oath of Druids is a pet card of mine and having it putting out heavy threats is awesome.

king-saproling: Used to have Herald of Leshrac but it felt too slow for its mana cost. Mimic Vat looks like a much better fit now compared to last time I considered it! Path of Discovery and Titania, Protector of Argoth are good additions but I'm very unsure on what to take out for them. Replaced Sneak Attack with Purphoros, Bronze-Blooded to power down the deck, but if I get my hands on a Sneak Attack I'll put it in! Not a fan of the one time use Generator Servant, I'd rather have repeatable haste enablers and mana rocks, and I'm trying to lower the number of small creatures for Oath of Druids to accidentally hit.

Hi Wihito, it's VorelNailo again!

First, thank you so much for providing these CSS styles! One of my primers recently hit #1, and I credit it partly to your styles. You can check it out here.

Secondly, I'm now making my own paper Vaevictis deck. He was the first mythic I pulled (my first booster box was M19) and I've finally decided to make a casual build focused around using topdeck manipulation to drop bombs off the commander. I'm just using cards from my collection, which is pretty small, but would appreciate any suggestions/feedback. You can find that here.
