This deck offers a different take on the equipment voltron archetype, using Licia, Sanguine Tribune as a relentless battering ram to break our foes. By using Zirda, the Dawnwaker as a companion, all our permanent cards must have activated abilities, but in return we get the benefits of having reduced costs for equip and other lovely abilities, so long as we can keep Zirda onto the battlefield.

Gaining bursts of life is key to being able to cast Licia for cheap when we need to. This life gain, combined with that of Licia's lifelinking punches, also makes it easier for the deck to run some cards that trade life for other resources. And of course we can feed it back into Licia's own activated ability as well.
