I cant express my pure love for Junk colors! :)

Deck related, I could see Hardened Scales being good in here especially with Bloodbond Vampire and an inclusion of Earthen Arms possibly. Also, obviously, copies of Gideon, Ally of Zendikar would greatly improve the deck but that comes down to a budget ordeal :)

thank you for the suggestions =D I'd add the walker if I could afford him, but as I can't I'll stick with the cards I've pulled lol. The Retreat to Kazandu gives me all kinds of life, which in turn gives Bloodbond Vampire lots of counters, so the Earthen Armsis a little superfluous. I desperatly want to put in a Hardened Scales though just have to find a few

I recently built a very similar deck and in the process of building it I have tested most of the cards you are using and so I might be able to tell you a thing or two:

  1. Imo Serene Steward is much better than Bloodbond Vampire since he can put the counters on others creatures, most notably the creatures with flying.

  2. Oath of Gideon, Retreat to Emeria, Allied Reinforcements and Captain's Claws are all cards that are great for a more typical Ally deck which focuses on the enters-the-battlefield effects. However in your deck there are only 8 cards that use this mechanic and 4 of them basically don't count since it makes no difference if Lantern Scout triggers multiple times. Only Kalastria Healer really profits from it. (And of course Stoneforge Masterwork, but that's a given in a race deck.)

  3. Join the Ranks is usually better than Allied Reinforcements since it's an instant and it doesn't really matter whether the tokens are 1/1 or 2/2 anyways.

  4. Sanguine Bond is so much better than Defiant Bloodlord. It costs less mana, it's more difficult to destroy and you don't do anything with the vampire subtheme anyways.

  5. Talus Paladin is better than Lantern Scout because it gives lifelink and grows into a scary giant as well. The only advantages of Lantern Scout are that he costs one mana less and that his lifelink also counts for non-Allies. However at least the second point is moot since you only have 2 non-Allies in the deck (Defiant Bloodlord) and imo you should replace them anyways.

If you want to have a look at my version you can find it here: When vampires go to church - Allies joining Orzhov

Cheers!

PS: I know nothing about formats so if I suggested banned cards I apologize for it.

Unfortunately, all of your suggestions, minus serene Stewart are not in standard

Damn, I'm sorry for that.

Me and my friends always play without any format except our personal "kitchen table" format. I didn't know standard was that restrictive and I had hoped at least some things would be useful.

How/Where do you find out whether a card is allowed in standard or not? Just so I don't make useless suggestions / create false hopes in the future...

Oath of Gideon is kind of silly without any walkers. How about Gideon himself?

shinobigarth I only have it in there for the Rally triggers, Gideon is too pricey

shinobigarth I play tested a lot and decided it was kinda clunky, switched with Dazzling Reflection

Zulaport Cutthroat is a strong addition because it can make them pay for killing your creatures

Defiant Bloodlord costs way too much to run 3. He's a 1 of at most.
