The Falkenrath have relinquished all pretense at nobility, losing themselves completely to their all-consuming thirst.

This is a tribal deck... sort of. Really we are focusing on the Madness mechanic to allow us to overwhelm our opponents.
I'm a huge fan of creature features and all things spoopy so naturally I enjoy decks that revolve around those themes. Because of this when I was getting back into Magic I was instantly drawn to the Shadows over Innistrad block. Vampires are pretty awesome, even if they've gotten a bad reputation in the past 10 years or so, and they have less flip cards than werewolves. I've built this deck using suggestions from the helpful Strictly Better MtG.It comes in at a pretty decent price tag and works pretty well. The mechanic that drives this deck is madness. It's a bit of a tricky rule, but can really be maddening for your opponents. I've really enjoyed playing this deck so go ahead and sink your teeth into it...
So madness works like this, you discard a card, which exiles it, you can then cast it for it's madness cost. The madness cost is usually cheaper and it allows us to trigger effects on cards like Furyblade Vampire, Ravenous Bloodseeker, and Stromkirk Condemned. It also allows us to easily transform Elusive Tormentor   and Heir of Falkenrath  . Falkenrath Gorger also gives all of our vampires madness as well which can give us some pretty good attacks. Finally when Drana, Liberator of Malakir makes it to the battlefield she can ramp up really quickly to give us a first strike flyer to take down our opponents faster than they can say Van Helsing.
Yet another pretty decent deck for under $30. You could really beef us this deck with any number of great madness or vampire cards, but for our price point I'm really happy with this deck so far.

As always I love hearing your thoughts and suggestions.
