Urge to Feed is nice removal that works with vampires and can get around indestructible guys and another good removal card is Crux of Fate which is basically Damnation light and is fairly cheap considering Damnation is over 40 bucks. also, unless the regen factor is big in your playgroup i would suggest In Garruk's Wake to replace Plague Wind to kill enemy walkers as well.

Haxxzor1 That's a valid point, but Dark Prophecy also has the cost of losing a creature to trigger rather than tapping a land. If your digging for answers be it creatures, removal, etc... it can be nice to have that on command card draw. I definitely think both have their merits and in a deck that runs stuff like Grave Pact, Dictate of Erebos, or even a token deck with Skullclamp I think Dark Prophecy gets much more valuable because you can control when it triggers a little more reliably and you get extra value from it.
I had Urge to Feed in for quite a while and I believe it got cut for Malicious Affliction. I really like getting that 2 for 1 post combat on opponents turns. Although being able to deal with indestructible creatures isn't completely irrelevant, there aren't many that get played with a 3 or less toughness. I do have Mutilate, Tragic Slip, Decree of Pain (cycled of course), and soon Black Sun's Zenith to deal with them when the occasion arises though.
Really good call on In Garruk's Wake though because regeneration is not that common in my play group. Planeswalkers, however, are pretty abundant. I like Crux of Fate as well, just not entirely sure what I would cut for it. I could probably cut the Life's Finale or Sadistic Sacrament whichever one I don't cut for BSZ.
Appreciate it.

i would cut Life's Finale but, again, it depends on the playgroup. i know many decks i encounter utilize their graveyards and i do not necessarily want to populate good reanimate targets for them without having some of those options for myself...

This deck looks awesome, +1 from me.
Can't really think of any suggestions, but perhaps Phyrexian Obliterator would certainly help.
Empty the Pits, Rise of the Dark Realms and Worst Fears might make good late-game cards to help you secure the win.

Eladain For some reason again, after discovering something truly diabolical Cavern of Souls comes to mind for Tribal decks. Might be a bit out of your price range but by god it is downright nasty with Tribal.

That seems amazingly good, especially since I have one friend who only plays Mono U. I think I've gotten about as streamlined as I'm going to get with the prior budget restraint. Going to gradually start acquiring some bigger staples like Vampiric Tutor, and Damnation (although I'm hoping for a MM2 reprint). Cavern of Souls will definitely go on that short list.

Eladain Yep that's exactly why it's going in my B/W as well and possibly my elf deck lol my friends mono-blue deck is just scary now with Chain Veil combos. Could be waiting a while for the MM2 reprints but you never know what they'll have in there apparently they're going to reveal spoilers from Dragons of Tarkir as early as next week so should be an interesting few months.

Cabal Coffers! You need it in every mono black deck.

What do you think of the BFZ vampire additions? Specifically, Defiant Bloodlord & Drana, Liberator of Malakir? Sanguine Bond on a stick can't hurt as a secondary win-con paired with Exquisite Blood & new Drana seems like she could be decent value in vamp tribal.

rendrag13, looks like he has Cabal Coffers in here, he just had it sorted under Ramp instead of Land. Totally agree though, CC is a mono-black auto-include!

No problem! In my case, I like to not be limited to only drawing 1 card a turn for 3cmc but you made an excellent point. Hope this build is as brutal to play as it looks! :)
