Scavenge, Wolfir Silverheart and Giant Growth --> Grow Lotleth Troll and it will deal large amounts of damage (he's also difficult to take down); grow Vampire Nighthawk and you'll gain life, too!

Also, if you play Lotleth Troll on turn two and you have a Slitherhead in your hand you'll be able to discard it to put a +1/+1 counter on your Troll, and then to scavenge for another counter. Not great combos, but still useful..

I use Tragic Slip as first removal: if creatures are too big (Consuming Aberration!?) I just switch it with Victim of Night or Ultimate Price (if I'm playing against a "mono"). Vampire Nighthawk is my "emergency removal".

Naturalize is for enchantment-based decks, and Tormod's Crypt is good against Reanimator, Dimir, and mirror.
