Also until you have enough vampires to activate Captivating Vampire's ability, use

, Terminate,
Feast of Blood
and Dreadbore for removal, to keep you safe from strong creatures and planeswalkers.
Bloodchief Ascension is great and having it in your opening hand is perfect. Three counters on it and you have the upper hand in the game, as its effect goes with your creature killing cards better than bed goes with Netflix. Vampire Nighthawk, Blood Artist, and your one-drops Stromkirk Noble and
Shadow Alley Denizen
are the best options to get all the three counters early in the game.
The stars of the deck, Olivia Voldaren and Captivating Vampire, give your opponent a huge headache. Use these guys and girl to control your rival's creatures, transforming them into vampires as well.
Bloodline Keeper
, Stromkirk Captain and
Vampire Nocturnus
are also a vampire masters and powerful options to increase the number of your vampires and empower them. And while that happens, Vampire Nighthawk is simply standing there, being awesome. And when he puts his Deathtouch together with Captain's First strike... That's when the fun starts.
Finally, use Gatekeeper of Malakir as the best living body removal in the game, and Toil / Trouble to draw cards and/or damage.
Note: the CMC of most cards is not high, what leaves opened mana for your instants and creature abilities.
Note 2: although it has a lot of rare cards, it is not that difficult to assemble this deck. I myself have made it without spending lots of money, just focusing on the vampirelike editions and trading cards with friends.
