Varina from the 2018 Aminatou Precon deck is the first time we've had a general who fully embodies the Esper Zombie archetype, taking full advantage of the tribe's identity.

I've wanted to build this deck basically since I first saw Varina, and I've finally picked up enough budget staples and had other playables and sweet control cards on-hand to take a crack at it. This has skewed more into a control/value archetype than the full-on Zombie token builds I've seen, or the incredible budget from Brody Mikel of EDHREC.
