Greatsword , JMat27, reconaissance, thank you for your opinions here. i don't typically rely on sacrificing my creatures with Jarad, its really more of an alternate plan to fall back on. therefore, i didn't include Tragic Slip and opted for Prey Upon since most of the deck's spells are dedicated to the +1/+1 Scavenge counters, so using the creature's size as removal seemed appropriate. i could possibly take out 1x Deathrite Shaman and 1x Prey Upon to add a pair of Putrefy , since that is great removal if my creatures aren't big enough to make Prey Upon work... but working that spell with Diregraf Captain works almost as well. Deathrite Shaman s are the swiss-army knife of the deck, although i was thinking about cutting them down to possibly 3 in the deck. as for the Planeswalkers, i'd prefer Liliana of the Veil because all of her abilities lend themselves perfectly to the deck's behavior. Vraska the Unseen is a little too expensive to cast and while i love her abilities, she doesn't quite deliver as well as Lili.

in that case Predator Ooze wouldn't be a terrible idea for something to scavenge on, maybe adding rancor if necesary

unfortunately u cannot use jarads ability on jarad it states right on the card sacrifice another creature and im not sure if splinterfright counts for scavenge that way but every thing else looks pretty awesome

you're right about the Jarad thing reawkwian but i did the research on Splinterfright and that totally works, its fun to pull off late game.

o thats bad ass then why not Boneyard Wurm then aswell?

Splinterfright works pretty well while OTB as well as in the graveyard, but the Boneyard Wurm is just sort of meh without the Trample. that, and it doesn't help me mill myself.

killkong1211 that's a good consideration, but i like the part where i can gain a ton of life if i'm targeting the right creature with Sheltering Word .
