When Varolz has gotten huge and/or you've built up your board: lock out your opponent's answers when they are all tapped out with Winter Orb, or simply protect him from targeted exile with Lightning Greaves, Swiftfoot Boots, Aspect of Mongoose, Asceticism, and Sylvan Safekeeper.
