My take on a Vela the Night-Clad EDH deck. The strategy is to use unblocked creatures with "When X deals combat damage to a player..." and control opponents with card advantage, discard, and stealy abilities. Ninjitsu creatures are great for this.

The main disadvantage as I see it is the weird feeling that in order to control you must aggro. It's risky and often doesn't pay off particularly in multiplayer games. Still, I've been experimenting and modifying constantly to make it the best it can be.
