Immediately abusable. Immediately dishonorable.
Every update I make seems to move it further and further away from my original goal...
Its first incarnation was able to poison 10 in turn two, version 3ish posions turn 3, and now it doesn't do it at all. Go figure.
Essentially, mulligan until you have Venerated Rot Priest and a forest in your hand. RG fastlands are applicable but against the spirit of budget, so keep that in your back pocket. Usual suspects for green card advantage. No protection, so it's gonna be a little bit too easy for your combo to fall apart.
Essentially, you'll want to have a draw and some exiled cards to target rotpriest/something else to build to storm- if all goes well, a turn 3 kill comes up...1/3 of the time? Turn 4 and 5 kills are more common, but it's also no small chance to just entirely whiff the combo. Like I said, don't be afraid to mulligan. Two rotpriests being out is basically guaranteeing a kill.
After numerous edits... I can't rightly call this deck budget anymore. Oh well. Combos sort of consistently, but it's a lot harder to do turn 3 kills. How the hell did I do turn two kills when I started out?
More edits. Feels gross throwing budget to the wind. Needs a more consistent mana base.
