After finally getting my hands on a Venser and loving the playtest with it, this is will probably the build I use post rotation.

The main idea of my deck would be to either ramp to the bigger creatures against a slower decks by fetching all of my creatures that make lands, or fetching out my bulky/stall creatures vs. more aggro decks. And of course Venser to abuse all of my ETB effects. All stars in my deck would definitely be Acidic Slime, Sun Titan and Frost Titan, Hero of Bladehold, and Phantasmal Image. Stonehorn Dignitary is the ultimate anti aggro card, and getting him out with Venser is difficult to beat.
