PPTQ —Sept. 13, 2016
Have only played two PPTQ's with this deck and top 8 at both of them. Can't seem to clench the W, but I will keep grinding with this deck until it gets there. It is VERY resilient against almost all decks in the format. Jund, Bant eldrazi, any mid range deck is absolutely STOMPS. It has some trouble against infect. In theory I would just need at least 2 paths or a path and a condemn in my opening hand, and a flying creature to really beat them.
Interesting things I have learned-
Spell queller AND venser BOTH can counter spells with Boseju, AND cavern of souls. It gets around the counter clause which really helped a lot at the last PPTQ against eldrazi, and grishoalbrand.
This deck is insane if I can resolve a venser planewalker with a lavinia of the tenth out. It absolutely soft locks 80% of the modern decks out there completely out of the game.

Good luck at the GP! Been playing a version of it myself, combining some different styles of Venser decks. Went to FNM myself with my own version Houdini - Venser U/W Blink, went 2-3, but got hammered by Jund/Merfolk/aggro strategies. Have Lavinia of the Tenth worked well for you in matchup like that? Seems to me it can hit PW/tamo etc and look it down for the win. Just cant seem to find space for it in my MB. Have you tried Akroma, Angel of Fury? Great surprise wincon, took a lot of opponents by surprise. Also Remand works great for me, but my deck is more tempo oriented
