This deck tries to merge two combos together: the Buried Alive + Arclight Phoenix combo and a Nic Fit deck with a Greater Gargadon + Titania, Protector of Argoth combo.

The reason for merging them together is that the Jund mana base suits both combos. Once Upon a Time can help power the Arclight Phoenix combo on turn 1, but equally casting Veteran Explorer on turn 1 into Cabal Therapy, flashback Cabal Therapy, get two basic lands and cast Buried Alive on turn 2 is very possible. Dark Ritual sometimes comes in useful for a large Green Sun's Zenith.

The inclusion of Greater Gargadon as an additional sac outlet for Veteran Explorer makes the ramp more reliable and once you resolve a Titania, Protector of Argoth you can sac all your lands to resolve a Greater Gargadon and a bunch of elementals. Greater Gargadon also comes in useful for saccing your Arclight Phoenixes if they are targeted with exile effects.

Finally, Ox of Agonas is an additional Buried Alive target, but can be feasibly hardcast with the ramp from Veteran Explorer.
