Red black would be so cool.... if only it could beat the tier 1 decks now. Most of the R/B decks I have seen are pretty straight forward Vamp decks with Olivia or Titans as there finishers with a mix of burn spells from red and some removal from black. I think it would be pretty cool to go a bit more towards the control side of the house with lifelink and some heavy burn spells to serve as finishers. This is very much a WIP and I hope to playtest in MTGO over the next month.

Some questions I have: Do I need a turn 2 Liliana, and if so, what are my ramp options?

Is this viable against other control decks?

Will this deck beat WRR decks prior to them resolving their Titan?

How does this deck compete against aggro decks? Is life gain plus creature removal a satisfactory way to deal with Haunted Humans, Delver Decks, and RDW?

Do Swords have a place in this deck?
