Maybeboard

Sling spells for CMC damage multiple times over! Copy the hell out of Sakashima who copies Vial Smasher. Made this as an experiment, to try to win without attacking at all.

The whole point of this build is to dish out damage by just playing the game. Adding damage on top of what the spells already to I felt was an efficient way of playing. By copying Sakashima of a Thousand Faces as a copy of Vial Smasher the Fierce you can multiply the damage done by just casting spells. I wanted to make it so I could win without even attacking once.

The main plan is to get Vial Smasher the Fierce and Sakashima of a Thousand Faces out as fast as possible. Then you want to copy Sakashima of a Thousand Faces which is a copy of Vial Smasher but with the added "legend rule doesn't apply" with all the copying creatures, artifacts, and spells. Doing this gives you a redundancy so removal spells don't wipe the board. Clever Impersonator, Mirrorhall Mimic  , Cryptoplasm, Phyrexian Metamorph, Sakashima the Impostor, Sakashima's Student, Stunt Double, Spark Double, Helm of the Host, Mirage Mirror, are the mentioned cards to look for.

This whole time you will also be dealing damage to the players via CMCs by just playing the game!

The removal spells so far are Bedevil and Turn / Burn.

Ive included a few cards to help keep the commanders on the battlefield, nice and cozy. Some are protection artifacts like Lightning Greaves, Swiftfoot Boots, and Spellskite. Some others are attack stax, Maze of Ith and Ensnaring Bridge. Lastly are there to bounce boards to the hand Aetherspouts and Cyclonic Rift.

I put quite a few counterspells in here so you can deal damage on your opponent's turns while trying to shut down their strategy and keep yours afloat. I will be swapping out some of the more costly CMC counters for more powerful ones that are cheaper on the mana bank. My favorites so far are Force of Will, Mana Drain and Rethink. Deflecting Swat is good against your opponent's removal as well as a counterspell, especially because you have a good chance of casting it for free! Izzet Charm is good because you can use it for card draw as well. Counterflux, Disdainful Stroke, Essence Backlash, Ionize, Mystic Confluence, and Psychic Strike add some redundancy to the counter category.

I added some ramping artifacts in here to help get things moving smoothly. The big three for this deck at the moment are Mox Diamond, Gem of Becoming, and Chromatic Lantern. They will either get you going early, grab the lands you need, or allow your lands to tap for any color. Sol Ring is always a good drop, Nyx Lotus helps out once you have some devotion out there, and Commander's Sphere will help round out the colors needed.

I added some cards to punish your opponents for playing and keep them from wanting to cast spells. My favorites are Kaervek the Merciless, Painful Quandary, Archfiend of Despair, and Wound Reflection, they all do well to help compound the damage output. Pain Magnification really get nasty when you have multiple Vial Smasher the Fierces out and can hit for 3 or more damage each(has to be done all at once by each individual copy, it cannot add up to 3). Mind's Dilation gives you the possibility of gaining board advantage off of your opponents just playing the game. Things like Heartless Hidetsugu and Havoc Festival can help you get life totals down far enough that lethal CMC damage is more easily attainable. Captive Audience is a possible wincon once they chose the 4 life option then you cast a spell and deal lethal CMC damage.

I recently added Lier, Disciple of the Drowned to allow me to replay my spells over and over again. Fiery Emancipation will help dish out the damage and can also be an alternate wincon. Mizzix of the Izmagnus can speed things up by making your spells cheaper to cast, who doesn't like that(besides your opponent lol). Urza's Filter will help with some of the heavy CMC multicolored cards.

Card advantage is a valuable thing so I added Sensei's Divining Top. The ultimate card advantage is in the tutors that I have added like Vampiric Tutor, Demonic Tutor, Grim Tutor, Mystical Teachings, Cruel Tutor, Demonic Collusion, Diabolic Tutor, and Profane Tutor.

As you can see if you stayed here 'till the end, the name of the game is to make some very uncomfortable situations for your opponents, deal damage by playing your game and punish them for playing their game.
