The addition of Aether Vial makes for aggressive plays, just like Merfolk with low mana cost creatures that help each other to push through a ton of damage out of nowhere.

Not to forget, your creatures can't be countered, frees up a lot of mana which can be used for removal etc and makes for some fun combat tricks.
