Got my Azusa, Lost but Seeking on pre-order, such a pretty card, whole bundle is quite nice.

Holy powercreep batman XD w/ the The Mycosynth Gardens(should be legendary imo) and Tyrranax Rex this is my favorite. glad it found its way into my favorite style of combo deck.

Yeah, I am still playing around with a few slots, but these numbers are getting closer to what I envision as the "ideal" 75.
For example, I ended up cutting a Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle because we aren't naturally getting to 6 lands consistently anymore, having 7 lands in the deck that blow themselves up. It's still worth playing a copy though, as there's plenty of lines that get us there. Quite happy with just one, as I still get to lethal with it thanks to Mosswort Bridge over Sunhome, Fortress of the Legion.
I chose Mosswort Bridge over Sunhome, Fortress of the Legion since it helps us get that land count up pretty consistently, and is pretty much just as deadly with less initial mana investment (fetching Mosswort Bridge and Vesuva copying a bounce, so you can replay it as Mosswort Bridge when you find an extra land creature is a nice line).
I'm still undecided as to the "proper" counts for Elvish Reclaimer, Explore, and Arboreal Grazer, since the influx of colorless lands and more consistent double amulet has changed the deck's dynamics a little. It's also a lot easier to fold to hate, because we are sort of sacrificing our lands for Amulet of Vigors, so if those amulets get removed, we are just behind.
I'm also not sure if I want to add back a second Tolaria West or not, because I am capable of getting away with only one thanks to Tyrranax Rex covering me against interactive decks. It does take away a few lines, but most of those are win-more, so I have been weighing the pros and cons of that second copy and am still undecided currently.

Also, as unintuitive as it sounds, I think The Mycosynth Gardens is worse than Urza's Saga but am running more copies of it. I found 7 to be my ideal number of the two lands, but I found that an opening hand with double Urza's Saga was usually worse than double The Mycosynth Gardens since you are forced to blow up your own lands with Urza's Saga while retaining the option with The Mycosynth Gardens.
It's a little anti-intuitive, because I 100% believe Urza's Saga is the better land, it is just worse in multiples and worse to draw into, so The Mycosynth Gardens gets the edge when I was considering which to keep at 4 copies and which to cut to 3.

They finally spoiled the one piece this deck was historically missing, a 4 CMC creature which allows us to pivot to stalling or help progress our plan of getting to 6 mana. Sadly, I think the deck has pivoted enough into colorless utility lands which blow themselves up for Amulet of Vigor that it may not find a home because of how color intensive it is. I'm still kind of excited to see any "you may play an additional land" cards, since I would prefer another per turn usable card to help offset Arboreal Grazer and Explore if possible.
Thalia and the Gitrog Monster
Legendary Creature - Human Frog Horror
First strike, deathtouch
You may play an additional land on each of your turns.
Creatures and nonbasic lands your opponents control enter the battlefield tapped.
Whenever Thalia and The Gitrog Monster attacks, sacrifice a creature or land, then draw a card.
4/4

do you have enough mana fixing for the black in [Thalia and the Gitrog Monster] mana cost?
February 23, 2023 10:41 a.m.
Unfortunately, no, and I don't think it is feasible to try to fit it in here with 4x The Mycosynth Gardens either. Prior to that, this would have been a great card, and we could have played a Godless Shrine alongside a third fetch and ran 3-4 each of Golgari Rot Farm and Selesnya Sanctuary (trim on Simic Growth Chambers) with no real downside to speak of.
Now, it fells like a bit too much of an investment for a backup plan. I still think it is a great card, but I don't think I can fit it in here without trading off some explosiveness by making some other cuts I really don't want to.
February 23, 2023 11:26 a.m.
Haha, I'm still trying to see if there's any other artifacts worth copying with The Mycosynth Gardens beyond the obvious Amulet of Vigor.
Cosima, God of the Voyage Flip seems like an interesting version of Tireless Tracker where you don't need to invest mana, but I am still not sure if the backside is worth copying, even though it lets us swing with Azusa, Lost but Seeking sort of, or capitalize with the creature side if we can't get through. I'll try it out, best thing I could find so far, even though highly situational, and probably a little slow.
Surprisingly nothing really comes to mind, but I will keep thinking about how to abuse the new deck.
February 23, 2023 12:29 p.m.
Actually, that's legendary... I feel silly... still worth testing as an include, but not a copy target, haha. Probably won't make the cut regardless.

Alright, I am pretty happy with this 75 now. I have an answer to most of the weaknesses I want to cover, and the deck is quite explosive. I am honestly surprised nobody is running Altered Ego or Tyrranax Rex since they do so much for the deck. Altered Ego is a cheaper second Primeval Titan, letting you get 2 titans at 7 mana instead of 9 by transmuting after the fetch, meaning you only need 1 extra mana with 2 Amulet of Vigor. It is also quite relevant to copy an opponent's Archon of Cruelty or any other major threat. Tyrranax Rex is just impossible for any interactive deck to interact with favorably, and it also gives us an out against "infinite" life gain, as a nice coincidence. Since it comes down swinging, it is a nicer control answer that something like Carnage Tyrant in my opinion, making it capable of slotting in the main instead of the side, since it is only a slight downgrade from Primeval Titan against a non-interactive deck.
Some other options in the main or side might look a little strange, but I've updated the deck description, so you should be able to see why I've chosen them. I honestly think these 75 are fairly ideal (you can tweak the sideboard a bit depending on meta obviously).
I've also been toying around with the idea of Nexus of Fate maindeck with the increase of mill matchups (maybe side, although I think Emrakul, the Aeons Torn is still slightly better for mill matchup). However, it only comes in foil so is considered a marked card (good job on that one Wizards...)
My main thought is that it almost invalidates the mill matchup, since it recycles itself and is a replacement effect, so it can't really be interacted with - hitting it with Tasha's Hideous Laughter is their only answer. This could potentially give me back the Emrakul, the Aeons Torn slot in the sideboard, and is honestly a solid hit for hideaway in any matchup as well. Not sure how I feel about drawing into it with no other threats, so I will have to playtest a bit and see if it is too much tradeoff, as it would probably swap in for the third Forest or second Boseiju, Who Endures, both of which I think are slightly better, if I am being honest.
February 28, 2023 11:19 p.m.
tbh Tyrranax Rex is an almost strict upgrade to Carnage Tyrant. Also with Nexus of Fate what a lot of poeple would do is run them in inner sleeves mark the inner sleeves with 1-4 and then have them set aside and have something like a basic marked with something like "Nexus of fate 2" on it then reveal the real nexus when cast
March 2, 2023 3:18 p.m.
I like that idea, I could then use my favorite Plains as the proxy.
I’m not sure if the card makes the cut, but it is definitely a consideration, thanks for the input!
I definitely agree about the almost strict upgrade part as well.
March 2, 2023 4:14 p.m.
So I ended up cutting Cultivator Colossus because I found it underwhelming since adding Altered Ego in, for all situations except for when I cast Scapeshift. This has led to Scapeshift being a lot weaker than it used to be, since it isn't always a win on the spot type of card, like it used to be, without the Cultivator Colossus to find, which was almost guaranteed to draw into multiple threats. For now, I'll go up to 3 Explore, but I really liked having access to a powerful and flexible midrange card like Scapeshift, so I'll continue searching for potential replacements.
March 8, 2023 5:21 p.m.
My search led me to an interesting path involving Devoted Druid + Luxior, Giada's Gift, which realistically has no place in the deck. However, I could see it potentially working out, strangely enough.
Devoted Druid could be used as a way to "store" 2 mana for a turn, to enable us to get to 6, and Luxior, Giada's Gift (pretty useless on its own) being findable by our 4 Urza's Saga and producing infinite mana with the cheeky combo, is definitely a way to get to cast the big things.
Is it worth it? Probably not. Is it interesting enough to mention, for sure!
Realistically, the best option I can think of right now is a singleton Elvish Reclaimer as he really does enable a lot (has gone in and out of the deck a few times). You can even pact for him without enough mana and some amulets to pay for the pact and find the land you need. Not the strongest card in the shell, but also not terrible. But is he better than an Explore? Hard to tell.
March 8, 2023 7:26 p.m.
I’m actually strongly considering Gretchen Titchwillow + Eldritch Evolution.
The singleton Gretchen Titchwillow would allow us to draw our whole deck with 2x Amulet of Vigor and Eldritch Evolution would allow us to find that piece with any creature.
I’m still trying to figure out if it is worth it, since the deck’s numbers are pretty statistically solid right now. It’s a fairly dead card without 2 amulets, so it is very close to the realm of win-more.
March 21, 2023 11:50 p.m.
I’ve really liked Gwenna, Eyes of Gaea - I’m thinking something with Wayward Swordtooth is viable instead of Dryad of the Ilysian Grove, although I personally like the additional win condition. I’ve not really come up with a way to spam permanents early to make it viable, but I could definitely see it as an alternate value engine.
There’s not many times I’ve been disappointed by Gwenna, Eyes of Gaea aside from topdecking, since it really allows some explosive plays, untapping after each titan and even manafixing through Blood Moon.
Needing to wait a turn for relevance is the card’s only real downside, so I am only running one copy since I don’t want too many irrelevant draws.
April 28, 2023 9:22 p.m.
IDK when you did but I assume you took out Scapeshift as it's not very relevant in amulet titan?
April 29, 2023 11:23 a.m.
Yeah, I took it out when I removed Cultivator Colossus.
I found Cultivator Colossus to be underperforming in comparison to Altered Ego in all situations except a single amulet scenario.
With 2+ amulets, the inclusion of Altered Ego guarantees double Primeval Titan at 7 mana which is almost always better than a singular Cultivator Colossus.
Scapeshift is a solid card, but we have too many lands that become amulets, and no payoff card anymore that benefits from bouncing all our lands to hand. I wouldn’t say it doesn’t fit, just that I found better options.
April 29, 2023 5:48 p.m.
For Scapeshift to be good, we need 6 lands and dryad, 5 lands and an amulet, or 3 lands and 2 amulets.
If you have a threat in hand, the thresholds drop to 3 lands with an amulet, and 2 lands with 2 amulets.
It isn’t a terrible card, it just doesn’t fit as well as some of the other options I’ve found now, since we no longer can convert all the bounces into card draw with Cultivator Colossus. I consider Scapeshift a better 2nd copy of Cultivator Colossus if you plan to run it, since it allows you to have more bounces in hand upon casting it. However, without that potential target, the card doesn’t have the same explosive potential.
April 30, 2023 10:29 a.m.
Eh, I added it back in. I'm toying around with a concept of cutting back on lands a bit and top-loading more versatile threats that are still relevant and ways to get them out. The deck is in a bit of a volatile state right now.
May 5, 2023 10:19 p.m.
So are you trying to be serious or is this a joke? There is a reason alot of these cards don't see play, they are bad on this deal. Maybe if the Format was a gefew turns slower or something but it isn't... there is a reason the winning decks are almost
May 6, 2023 9:46 a.m.
What card in here is so bad, that it can't see play? Please educate me. I think you are just unaware of the overlap between certain card choices, and the "out of the box" concepts behind some of their inclusions.
For example, Scapeshift and Eldritch Evolution are both threats or ramp, depending on how they are used. Cultivator Colossus and Atraxa, Grand Unifier are both big creatures that create card advantage and draw into more threats, alongside Altered Ego which can copy either, or be a second Primeval Titan for cheaper after transmuting Tolaria West.
The reason most winning decks are basically the same is that it's easier to copy someone else's work than be innovative. I've had a few concepts within this particular deck before they ever made it into any top 8s or anything, but someone tried them out a few weeks later, and top 8'd with them.
Any synergies you are overly confused about, feel free to ask, but please don't try to tell me to copy paste a generic decklist, if that isn't something I want to do. There's quite a bit of flexroom in amulet titan, you don't even need Primeval Titan as the payoff card, it is just one of the most resilient and fast/consistent options. There's also multiple ways to count to 6, allowing multiple paths there.
Post constructive feedback, outlining what you disagree with in particular, don't just throw generic shade telling me to copy/paste a homogenized list.

i posted it before and was ignores, i play the things that have been proven to win https://www.mtggoldfish.com/archetype/amulet-titan#paper
there's the list that will win, tried and true
atraxa sucks in this reclaimer sucks in this the clone sucks in this
there are a reason that high end players don't play things like this, they do not win
i used to be like you, thought i could make tweaks and homebrew. i learned the hard way too from people saying things just like this.

Yeah, the only cards that make sense which I didn't really consider (I've seen them a few times) are Pick the Brain and Shimian Specter - still don't think they make the cut. Shimian Specter seems pretty disgusting if you can get it to stick around, but that would be quite the challenge in a creature based deck like this. I could see it being a decent game 2 tool in a control shell if you play little to no creatures, making them side out most of their removal, but beyond that, it is a little too fragile. I've contemplated Surgical Extraction before, but it relies on them already playing their threat, which is too late for me, since we don't have any targeted discard or mill. I ran Necromentia and Unmoored Ego for a while, but the colorless aspect of The Stone Brain just makes it worth that extra mana of investment.
