Also, I find the idea that I'm jumping on the "rape bandwagon" hilarious. Do you honestly think I'm doing this for image?

I have family members that have been victims of rape. I can tell you reassuringly TheBoraxKid that it doesn't offend me at all.

The moment anyone who is offended, sits back, and thinks about it. They'll realize exactly what yeaSavior said, and as far as I'm concerned, his word should have ended any further attempts.

I think this deck might have a spot for a couple [passed away] maybe in the side board it's solid removal in any format.

@Hallowed_Titan, there were several people upset about the name. Look through the cleared comments.

Oh I see. It's not even a bad name though. Just accurate lol.

Yeah, they had really bad counter points. Eventually yeaSavior ended it. The deck name can stay.

How'd you compare mono black vs b/r vampire decks? I had a b/r before but wasn't really doing too much for me

June 4, 2015 9:02 p.m.

@mdunham, I don't know about others, but red seems to speed the deck up to me. With cards like Lightning Bolt and Stromkirk Noble, red can add a lot of extra good stuff to the deck.

It's all just personnel opinion though. :)

....... I wonder why no one has ever made a green vampire deck..... XD

haha yea. For me splashing some colors makes the deck more interesting. I've been thinking of going back to r/b. Any advice on my deck? Nosferatu and Friends

+1, great deck, similar to something I tried to build a year or two ago (much more streamlines and competitive though haha). Also like the way you handled the people who wanted the name changed.

Very nice deck. Every card you have in here makes perfect sense. +1!

Bump in the Night? It's basically just another bolt.

June 11, 2015 11:35 p.m.

Felixlives says... #15

Bump is good for a burn type aggro build but doesn't have much sustainability bolt hits creatures which is what makes it so incredible. Typically a creature is better than a sorcery or instant because it becomes a threat that must be dealt with or you lose whereas bump just gives you a tap and then your left one card down and no board presence.

I have a similar deck, although no Liliana just yet, but I view her as a must-include once I get her.

Based on my own experience with the deck, I recommend you add Kalastria Highborn, Viscera Seer, and Terminate. Sometimes the board gets clogged up and I will just start sacing vamps to either Seer or Aristocrat and burning them out with Highborn. Plus Highborn gives you some life gain. I removed Nighthawk from my list all together because he has been underwhelming. Seer is amazing to manipulate and smooth your draws.

Very nice build! But I'm curious as to how you combat a dredge gifts deck. Those 4 color decks are fairly powerful and your liliana would only be an enabler for those decks. The premise is to dredge the unburial and a target creature with Gnaw to the Bone acting as a stablizer so they can face agressive decks. I don't see anything in your sideboard to stop that kind of idea so I was curious how would you combat that?

I like your deck. Check out my 2 vampire decks. I've got a mono-black that focuses mostly on destroying opponents creatures and gaining life, and I've got a BR that focuses on bloodsucking and bloodthirst. Maybe you can get some ideas there.

I might personally add white for Sorin, Solemn Visitor or Sorin, Lord of Innistrad. Anowon, the Ruin Sageis great late game to keep you ahead, though Mogis, God of Slaughter does nearly the same thing. If you aren't scared of boardwipes in your meta Feast of Blood.Something else nice in white is Brave the Elements.

Adding white for spring how does that make brave the elements viable in anyway?

Just come back to remind you that rape isn't funny, isn't something to make fun of and should not be used to describe a trading card game.

HeartSwells, that discussion has been closed by the founder of the site himself. Here, let me dig it up for you:

"If we ban rape I think we've definitely got to ban murder too. reading the description I don't find any clue that this user is mocking or making light of the victims of sexual violence or is perpetuating it's occurrence in society. Feel free to Google "the rape of"... there's plenty of professional and academic sources reaching back decades which use the imagery to describe something else besides sexual assault." - yeaSavior

So I think it is safe to say it should stop being brought up now. I'm not trying to offend you in any way, I just believe it would be best to disclose the conversation, as yeaSavior himself has already made his decision on the matter.
